      @@camomaster6316 I don't even have a garage to speak of, now that I'm renting an apartment. I've seen pictures where the models are hung on the ceiling but they were reversed. The landing gear was resting against the ceiling and it looked pretty cool. I'd like to do that but I can't figure out how to physically attach them to the ceiling. If anybody has an idea on how to do that please let me know.

    Brian, with the S1100 Charger having auto-start charging. You have to push "stop" to stop the charging, so the full menu comes up, then you can change the discharge days. Then push start to charge. The S1500 you have to push start, so it lets you change it right at plug in. Great work, keep it up!!!

      Thanks Crazy Aces!!! Glad you're getting serious ;) This plane is way harder than the A-10, but the A-10 is way faster, and probably a bit better value, in a side by side. Such a pretty bird! Love the front landing gear "cover" or what you would call it(edit guard :D ). Also the look of the "turbines". On a side note, got my first EDF now. Managed to find an assembled but never flown E-flite F-15 with safe and everything for under $100!! Now I just need to watch the rest.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome! The F15 is supposed to be a great EDF! I don't have that or the F16 in that size class, but would like to review them too. Sometimes smaller is better, and sometimes it's not...I hear they're good, but I'm big about wheels up / wheels down, so fixed gear on EDF jets is a bit of a non-starter for me on any war bird. That being said, I'm exceeded to see how well they both perform.

    Hi, When you can not line up a part with the hole you can use a long skinny pointy pick tool to reach the hole you want to put the screw in and with a point on it you can poke it in the hole slowly moving it around to find hole and fall into the hole with part on move it around to find the hole with little presser too with part to your hole you want to screw on to line it up hold the part pull poke tool out do not let part move hole should take screw put screw in should fall into the hole you just had poked the point tool in it will fall into the hole, Try it next time your screw will not fall into the hole.

    I still love flying in Phoenix RC.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I get nervous with the more expensive planes, but only because I have some level of obligation to get some video footage ;) I really love flying. I'm so lucky to be doing this and honored to bring some of the best planes to TH-cam...so there's some pressure to perform, but I think the pressure helps to sharpen me.
      As for flying heli's - crashes are way more painful, and almost every crash results in big time damage...flying planes is easier in that regard. You can have a very low damage "Crash" or a completely obliterated crash...but with more skill, you do learn to deal with crappy situations and how to avoid getting into these "life or death" situations.
      If you aren't flying, who cares if you crash them, right?!??!

    Such a sweet bird. What are your honest thoughts? I am about to begin flying the F-16 Thunderbird 70mm - would the SU-30 be a good next step up for my EDF journey? Or would the E-flite F-18 80mm be a better plane after the E-flite F-16 Thunderbird? I love these jets but I am trying to not overstep and end up destroying an expensive bird.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are expensive, and big, and use expensive batteries too ;)
      Thoughts...
      If you want the Su-30 - get one now.
      If you want the F-18, keep a close eye on the tailevator linkages, some have had issues, but I have NOT.
      If you want the F-16, get the CG back so you can flare for landings - NO FLAPS...and with the AR636B it's a real chore to setup flapperons, and they don't really work all that good either...I added "air breaks" onto the main gear bogies, and this helped a lot...
      All three are AWESOME planes, but if you want the SU30 - get it now. MY favorite is the F-18, but it's more doggy than the Su-30, but IT HAS FLAPS, and they BOTH have AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, SCALE retracts ;)

    I have had the same issue with battery size compared to power , don’t understand it my self and had two of the same battery with two different gauge of wire. I believe the c ratings on batteries can be some what of a sham any way, I truly believe there are only 4 c ratings cause of the way the batteries are made down the production line.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the C rating needs to be redone...there should be a DC (Discharge) rate, and a C (Charge) rate...some would have the same rate, while others might have totally different circuits. I don't think the C ratings are a bad way to communicate value to a customer, but this value can be "overstated", even by a reputable company like Horizon Hobby.
