  • Welcome,
In today's video, I will show you how to remove the door mirror from a Citroen DS3 as well as the door trim (door card) in the process.
We need to remove the door trim to unplug the plugs, guide the cable, and remove the 13mm nut that holds the mirror onto the door.
To remove the window switch, there will be a little cover and underneath there will be a Torx screw. Pull the switch out and unplug.
For the door trim itself there will be two T20 torx screws to the bottom and two to the right. Remove the screws whats holding the trim are clips on the inside. Get in between the door trim and panel with a plastic tool, slide your fingers in pull the bottom of the door trim with a little force, and slide it upwards to detach.
The speaker with the bracket which is held on by rivets must be removed. To slide out the cable holder. Unplug the plugs for the mirror and detach the clip.
You will now need to remove the 13mm nut underneath a circular cover. The trickiest part to this is when pulling the mirror out the cable and plugs get stuck along the way and you can imagine putting it back on will also be difficult.
