Tier I Metro companies need more funding to expand in the current situation, Tier 2 cities can make plans and reserve space now

Dirty metro lines destroy our city. I never see pillar metro in developped cities. Road conditions is not good and metro.

As you mentioned the road conditions are not sufficient for public transport hence no other choice for a simple and durable mode of transport, as for underground metro the cost of tunnel is high

True but our cities contribution to the GDP growth is important , hence metros are not a choice

what type of discussion is this?
PPP model in which the private party would not construct the metro, it will only run the trains and will have revenue backed by sovereign guarantees?
Why exactly do u need private players in this scenario? what r they bringing to the table?
So privatise the profit and nationalise the loss!
    Stop this nonsensical propoganda

India should also establish and build more coaches both public and private. We should reduce fuel usage

Montreal's metro coach were made in India. India is leader in metro manufacturing. Only few of Indian coaches were built by Chinese manufacturers that is only because of L1.

Though the trains and fare ae great, Bombay metro is complete BS as it has Zero last mile connectivity. The station names are shitty (no one identifies the station names even after living in Bombay for 50 years).
Metro 3 going near airport is another j😂ke. From WEH Walk 2-7 kms to the airport with luggage depending on T1 or T2? There is no airport circuit bus yet. Also airport will shift to new Bombay later. That’s why low ridership.
