I don't see it being a problem. I eat 2 meals a day also but drink Vega protein powder supplement twice daily. I eat brown rice and beans, vegetables, fruits. I am the same age and go on hard hikes twice a week.
I'm with you on that. I'm 5'6" 125 lbs and 16% body fat. Nope, I can't do 50-60 grams of protein in one sitting, either. That's why I make sure I get in no less than 20-30 grams at my first meal of the day, because this will give me the best MPS (muscle protein synthesis) and then I spread the rest of my protein throughout the day. I don't see it being a problem. I eat 2 meals a day also but drink Vega protein powder supplement twice daily. I eat brown rice and beans, vegetables, fruits. I am the same age and go on hard hikes twice a week.

I'm with you on that. I'm 5'6" 125 lbs and 16% body fat. Nope, I can't do 50-60 grams of protein in one sitting, either. That's why I make sure I get in no less than 20-30 grams at my first meal of the day, because this will give me the best MPS (muscle protein synthesis) and then I spread the rest of my protein throughout the day. Research has shown that this is effective. I do talk about this later in the video, in case you missed it. Thanks so much for sharing.
