agreed if I had a large work space and an industrial sewing machine this is the absolutely best stitch to use. unfortunately I am limited in equipment and space.
The Tonno ring will have its own throw on top, or covered with a dome, so you can open it and let light/air in or use it to put a woodstove pipe though
@@FoxfireHeritageFarm Do you happen to remember what size you cut the toono wood pieces?I got the angle down mine is way bigger though I cut each piece at 18 inch.Also I used a Miter saw the angle was 22.5

should be using a "full flat felled seam" which is the strongest and water tight seam for canvas.

Is the tonno ring covered with canvas or is there a hole in the canvas? That is probably the hardest bit to sew right?

What angle were the pieces cut for the roof ring?
Its an Octagon so each piece is cut at 67.5 degrees
