That is some whopping great motorhome. Back slap rear corners too!! Some people like to take their home with them it seems!! My motor is a Campervan - very compact. you enjoy yourselves and take care!!
Interesting you mention about Irish Ferries and the ‘early’ charge. I was charged £40 a couple of months ago so I think it’s a new policy. I’ve also travelled DFDS and P&O recently, bumped early and no extra charge. I think I’m swapping as these £40’s all add up to frequent channel travellers. Enjoy your trip. 👍🏻
I would recommend getting a little obd scanning tool for situations like you had you would know what the problem was you can reset stuff and all sorts to get you out of trouble I have a topdon one which has paid for itself already
so happy I found your channel. Love it. Can't wait to see where you go next. Seeing the White Cliffs of Dover bought back so many memories, Dad was in the army and we lived in Germany for quite a few years and driving home to England and getting the Ferry, nostalgic for sure. We daily vlog our lives here in Florida :)
Have a fantastic time…which we know you all will anyway 👍😍 Our engine management light came on last week, luckily we were at the dealers having the hab check and repairs done. They put one of those readers on it, and it was the bit before the DPF that was reading faulty. They cleared the fault and it hasn’t come back on. Given it a good run since, and all is good 👍👍 xx
Looking forward to the new vlogs with the van. We don’t have a van but our management light kept coming on and off in our car finally found out it was to do with the petrol cap and the gases from it. So each time just opened and shut it and shut it and all was good after that x
Great to see you back vlogging and back on the road. Looking forward to following your adventures! And I hope the van / engine plays ball. Do you still have the dog? Understand not taking it into Europe, but not seen it in any posts or vlogs for a while.
Thanks for the vlog. We get our first ever motorhome at the end of October which we hour to live in for a couple of years, touring Europe and the UK. We have been binge watching your videos, love how you budget, because we will be doing a lot of that 😂 looking forward to seeing what comes next with your travels. Van Love looked great fun, might see you there next year 😊
@TheRollingRucks Hi. I wondered where that comment went. Sorry, that wasn't meant for you, but you probably gathered that from what I was saying 🤣 we do enjoy your videos as well. In fact we watched your last one half an hour ago. Thank you and safe travels x
We must be living a parallel life...we have been up to see Rob and lyn and we're having a fantastic time until Lorraine tripped broke here ankle then on the way home our van went into limp mode ,luckily was able to fix it and made it home ,,,,,,you will have a fantastic time❤❤❤❤❤
Good to see you back on the road again. Just a thought your breakdown cover (AA/ RAC) could have been called to come to you and check your OBD readings. Might have taken a few hours for them to arrive but it's not an issue when you are static. Safe travels 🚐
Good to see you all out and about, i do enjoy watching your Channel. Have a great Holiday, and if you get time to make a few move vids of your hols that would be great, but no pressure! Enjoy!
Ours comes on every other journey even after a 400mile trip, so a bought a obd reader, its the basic emission p2002 code, so i just reset it, reader was £40ish from amazon well worth it (van had only done 2700m
Those bloody engine management lights are a pain, they can be triggered by so many things, mine was the fact the seller had done his own maintenance as he was a mechanic but it needed re coding by a diagnostic machine which the RAC did in 5 minutes.,., but it’s so scary. Apparently there the bain of the recovery services. Enjoy your trip. I’m off Thursday, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy and France. Can’t wait.
Where is your gorgeous puppy? It’s a lot of hassle bringing them to Europe for such a short trip , it’s also quite an anxious trip home making sure all the paperwork is done correctly. Have a wonderful holiday, lovely seeing you all again x
I keep getting a check engine wsrnning every time I chacge fuel or top up Ad Blue so just use an obd reader to check its nothing serioud and clear.Modern engines too complicated and think the sensors are too sensitive.Have a great trip.
Hope this helps and doesn't alarm but just in case you engine management light comes back on. I have a 2 year old motorhome built on a Fiat chassis. I have a repeating engine management light problem for which I am now on my third sensor change (each time a different one). I am told by Fiat that you are OK to drive the motorhome with the engine management light is on so long as it stays amber in colour and does not change to red. I put this to the test this year doing about 3,000 miles with the light on while touring Italy before going in the Fiat garage when I got home. Hope this helps .... Enjoy your holiday.
hi guys its more then likely the adblue system they dont like to be left for any amount of time big tip is keep the adblue full before you park it up for any amout of time
Hi I love all your videos very much. Are there any legal requirements for stickers of any kind on Camper vans etc both in the UK and EU please. Many thanks Gary
@@TheRollingRucks my vauxhall mokka x did this 2017 reg ecoflex active 1600 cdti.Found out the egr valve sensor that regulates fumes coming out of exhaust no diesel smell was faulty. No further problems.surprised as it's a new motorhome.Hope this helps.Your a lovely family enjoy your travelling
