NICE 👍 BROTHER I to have the 307 and was a pretty big Dj in Chicago mid to late 90s there’s something just so nostalgic about it it takes me back to the nights of writing tracks all by myself just finding the amazing flow of sounds sounding like heaven

@@krostifmusic yeah I still sometimes jam a bit on the MC-303 but I find the old Korg Electribe's are my preferred older gear to mess around with. So easy to just get something going on those and really dig the workflow. I've never played with the MC-307 but I can tell the similarities with the MC-303 for sure. Assuming it's probably just better in most or all aspects.
@@dylanleroysynth Yes that's it :) I love the old Electribes too, exactly for the same reasons. I only have EM1 but if I find EA1 for a good price, I will certainly buy it 😄
@@krostifmusic I found an excellent condition EA-1 which I snagged not long ago. Was happy about adding that. Then I've had an ER-1 for many years which is still pretty cool and is so fun to mess around or layer with. I absolutely love my EMX-1 & ESX-1SD though. Probably my favorite generation of the Electribe's. Then I have an Electribe 2 synth that I used as my main brain for awhile. Still need to find a place for that now in my setup after the changes I've made. 😄

Class performance 👏 I can't seem to ever find any well functioning MC-505s...perhaps this is what I should be looking for instead. Better prices and maybe less beaten up!

The MC307 ? Yes, I have it for more than 20 years now, it was my first instrument. the third model of the groovebox serie, after the MC505 😉
In fact, I had the MC303 very recently from a good friend 😁

The drums on this and your mc-303 dub techno video sound very good. A lot of my favorite producers have that "yep its a 909, but.. not" sound. I'm sure its a million reasons. EQ, samplers, boxes like these or many others [R5, R8, weird Yamaha or Korgs with unofficial samples]. But... I think I'll try a couple of these. In fact I have the DR groove 202 machine.
MC-303 vs 307? anyone care to comment?
Dr202 with sp202 was also an option when I was wanting to buy my first gear 20 years ago. I took mc307 because it was the new one and not much other choices in the shop (yeah it was before internet 😅) but still happy with it today :)
@@5meohd mc307 easier to use, at least more understandable at first sight. More effects, more features, more patterns and patch users.. These are my preferences :)

I'm sorry, i can't tell.. i have the 307 under my hands right now and I renamed the patch with all what I have change in it.. impossible to remember the original preset 😕

Thanks !! No dub chords presets in this old machine. I took a simple synth sound that fits, played with filter / resonance /enveloppe, added a bit of delay, an lfo setted in the patch on filter for movement, and for this one i took the reverb in mfx section that has reverse :)
