I don't think you can ever go wrong with a muted blue bathroom. It looks fantastic! I'm SO glad you swapped those glass shelves for the aluminum ones! and the cork bottom is genius.
I love the blue and I’m so glad it’s not brown. I have never seen anybody remove the entire entire vanity just to make sure the paint job was good behind it, but you know what? Respect! You will get a good painting job and you will not have a bunch of paint on your fixtures to be peeling off every time you go to wash your hands or clean the bathroom. Ask me how I know. Then you covered up all your new paint with tile after you put the vanity back . OK. I’m a little confused, but it’s looking good.
It is gorgeous and unlike the poop room, this color is very nice 😁 One thing, I wish you'd put the cut tiles below the full size ones on the backsplash, not above.

Toilet seat is an easy fix ... as I just found out. After trying to tighten the bolts underneath several times, I realized it had to be done from above. Flip up the hinge cover and tighten the screw holding the bolt in place below.
I love a blue bathroom. (My primary is dark, dark blue with 6'tall peacock feathers painted on the walls. The ceiling is painted to look like stormy clouds. Love the blue.)
That exact Birds of North America book was an ever present, close at hand reference in my home growing up... and still is out in my mother's sun room! She designed her yard (NW Washington state) as a bird sanctuary, the book comes in handy daily!

Really beautiful. It’s still neutral but warmer and cozier. Very welcoming. Love the checkerboard backsplash. Just that little bit of it shows a lot of personality but doesn’t dominate.

I love the decision on the shelves because number one. I wanted them to have a ledge because things fall off of shelves and you don’t want that happening when it’s over the toilet or anywhere in the bathroom, especially. I think the color/metal takes you out of the vintagey vibe and makes it more eclectic and it’s not brown😀
I love the color! This was a great makeover. You showed great accessories that may not be typical bathroom accessories and they work great! I love the tile also. It gave so much character to the room. Fantastic job!

For the spray paint: gloss enamel scratches way less than matte. For all paint really. It just gets harder for some reason. I know it’s not “aesthetic” but it works. And putting a rust covering primer on it (even if there’s no rust) helps too for some reason.
Cool. I wouldn’t have thought of a backsplash under the mirror, but I love it. And, I looooooove the circular wood bench. I trust you waterproofed it(!). Congrats.
I imagine you were returning the glass shelves, but it looked like they would have fit perfectly into the metal shelves and kept them from getting scratched up. I also love Ariel Bissett’s course on Wayfair! Kudos to Becky!
If you can find a second hand art/ artist book, those are always handy to have for filling frames as needed. Whenever I bring home a cool frame- I pull out the Dali book I found at the thrift store and cut a page out from that.
