    "Wrestling's fake."
Mick Foley: "And I took that personally."

"I wrestled the next night" is the most ridiculous sentence in this context.

Not quite, but it's unreal the bumps he took. Just that match alone is enough to end a normal person's career lol

What I think happened is that when you’re unconscious sometimes you still speak and talk, think of it almost like sleep talking. What I think he did was terry asked him if he was okay, and if he wanted to continue or could continue he probably unconsciously said “yeah, yeah” before coming to which was why funk went to buy time and got chokeslammed then foely came to.

I think the reason that Cell match is arguably the most famous in history is, ironically, that only a couple of things actually happen in it - it’s pure grand guignol horror; it is relentless theatre virtually unencumbered by actual wrestling. You actually feel filthy and voyeuristic for even seeing it. It’s like watching pornography. Sublimely corrupt in its trajectory, stripped down to appeal to the visceral sadism of the crowd.

I really wish people would stop making him relive that night. The story has been told a million times. stop asking him about it.

You don’t stay a millionaire buying expensive suits and leather belts when wearing the same sweatpants for weeks on end with a piece of cord to hold them up will do the job just as well.

You would think everyone was a bum in the 90s. What dumb comparison. He's just not a superficial queer who thinks brands somehow make any difference whatsoever.
