I checked 2 saber vids and this one was actually nice better explaining and hands done even i grasped what you where doing. still i do wish more explaining why you do something or why you change number and for what reson since i followed evrything and all worked except the zoom and since i followed i have no idea what went wrong it just didnt look like yours with the zoom..
sometimes it goes a little fast but lucky there is a pus button ;)

It can, but then you might run into a problem where the reflection map becomes visible, try it out anyway

I've created a saber composition layer so I can have an animated glow around my text. The problem I'm having is that there's a black square on the saber layer that wont disappear. How can I fix this?
Just found it: Render Settings/Composition Settings choose Transparent in drop down list
I recreated it (THX!), but I still don't know how to change my picture. I selected the Composition "Logo", added my new picture and made the Auto-Trace with the new Logo and clicked on the eye of the old logo to make it invisible. But in "Comp1" there is still Adidas, it is not updated. Please tell me: Where is my mistake? Thx!
You need to delete the masks of adidas logo, then add new ones of a different logo

You've got to toggle off mask path visibility, it's the third icon to the right of the resolution that says "Full"

Do you mean toggle mask visibility on/off? There's an icon for that under the preview screen

Oh, I get it now, honestly I haven't tried it, not sure if you can conceal that line while leaving the rest visible

Set renderer to basic 3d in composition settings
for someone reason when doing auto trace i only get one layer not 17 like you do

Depends on the logo, use different settings for auto trace until you pick up everything

everytime i try to change the scale of the reflection to 100,-50 it automaticly changes it to 50, -50 how fix?
You need to unlink uniform scaling, there's a lock next to the values, make sure you uncheck it.

You could play around with the auto trace settings or create multiple layers with separately traced logo parts, it's tricky with some logos that don't trace well
Yeah, I had the same problem, but I removed the background and the tracing became fine
why do i only have one mask instead of seventeen
The amount of masks depends on how many elements your logo has, it might be a simple 1 element logo that can be traced with 1 mask. Less masks is a good thing
