I went to that site to check it out. almost bought something, but it didn't feel right - entered my CC info, but didn't press enter - backed out. 20 minutes later, and within 2 minutes, my CC was hit by 19 fraud charges for $60 at "steamgames" at various geographic locations throughout the world. fortunately, I get text messages when my card is used so I shut it down quickly; but still had to cancel the card and report the charges. so be careful.
my electricity comes out a bit wavy, i dont know what i did wrong I feel like you skipped some steps because ur electricity perfectly outlines with ur letters but mines is a bit wavier
I have followed all your steps but the original text and the outlines don't do what yours does. It is just static text and when it does appear and disappear I still have the original text laying in background that doesn't want to hide when i tell it to. I am using CC 2018
@@komalchandwani_ I've just given up on adobe software in general. It is all just a horrible mess and takes about 10 years to get your head around even the basics. i cant write anything under evolution, other than that it seems to be working, this might be happening bc i have the latest version of AE, which probably isnt the same as the one in this video
Great video. I especially like how nothing is where you say it is and you completely skip over how to actually do it with the pen tool. You don't give any info on it at all. "So once you've done with the pen tool, just select this which isn't there and then select this which also isn't there and boom you're done" I like the effect you've done. But you fly through it way too fast and miss out certain bits of information. Which might seem minor to you but to me who is unfamiliar with what you're doing, means I hit a road block. Every time. And it's annoying as hell.
While the tutorial is fairly old, missing steps out, not explaining things fully in a tutorial video is crucial. Ended up with the same wavy lines as the person below and decided to "f this" and move on. Thanks for the time sync

At 4:28 when you selected tint color why did nothing pop up? When I do it the color fills the text in and I'm not sure why.
