Today I cancelled our vacation there … every year our family of 11 plus out of town family makes it 34 !! We rent 4 large cabins and stay for an extended stay…. Since this came out because of the obvious lack of concern and mistreatment of this family !!!! Thank you for bringing Attention to this ! We made the decision to NOT spend our money in that city !!!! I pulled up our financial statement from last years vacation & just my family of 11 - Between dining , attractions, dinner theatres , photos & Titanic 😊plus here & there other stuff we did our total was 14,500 US $ . I did mention extended stay …… and we save and work a lot of overtime throughout the year to fund this … Thank GOD we didn’t lose any $ from cancelling . Those figures do NOT reflect out of town family ….. We decided as a family to go on to Sc. Myrtle Beach 🏖️ only problem is moving our dates . But, I will NOT ever spend $ in Pigeon Forge again !!!!!!! 😊 Thank you for bringing awareness to the city corruption!

They will try to wear you down and this could take years to finish but keep on it and you will pretty much own this little town one day. Well that’s pretty stunning “something between two parties not needing anything but a notary, to witness” the transaction. When I was first married, I was not a US citizen, and hadn’t had my first meeting with immigration. My hubby and I bought our house, but my name couldn’t go on the deed, until after the closing. So, we closed one day, paid a 100.00 fee the next day, for my name to be on the deed. Seems to me, that this judge is truly pissed off that the family wasn’t going to take this sitting down, and just go quietly into the night. Man life for these people must be so simple! Have long standing family in a small community, get in charge, then do what you want, no matter who doesn’t like it. SMH

Political corruption for sure. Include the notary in your lawsuit you may be able to start a civil suit against that person and get the ball rolling. It’s the notary’s responsibility to be sure what they stamp is legal. Knowing the mayor had financial ties to the campground and sold it for 0 dollars to clear him from the campground and had the closed door approval of the route not approved by public vote looks shady. Whoever bulldozed the house too. Once the notary is hit with civil suit for the cost of house and emotional stress they may spill the beans on mayor. Don’t give up it’s not right. While I stressed in the past that the city is following Tennessee law with how it is handling the eminent domain lawsuit, I do agree the mayor is corrupt with this conflict of interest. He should have abstained from any voting or decision as to the route. Keep digging and you may have a right to take challenge.
Yep and I do mention that in the video. He did abstain from the actual vote of the route. He did vote to condemn our house. He was not upfront about his interest in the campground during any of the decisions made or plans of the routes.

That is why even when you "give" a car away, such as when a parent gives to their child, it gets listed as $1.00 or something menial like that, but with actual value. And I'm not a lawyer, but officials have stated in order for transfers to be legal, they must have a value for consideration. So $0 sounds hinkey. Like mafia level action.

You guys didn’t even own that property when the route was approved, you bought the property without having a site survey conducted which would have resulted in the discovery of the plans for the destruction of the home. I’m not in favor of eminent domain at all but had your family done their due diligence prior to buying the home the this wouldn’t be an issue. Which is why I am guessing no lawyer will touch this case. That and the fact that you refused multiple offers and refused to submit any property appraisals when asked for them.
Rusty it’s called Lis Penden. It’s a notice the city is required to file on properties going in eminent domain. They did not. I also don’t understand where you get your details from because you clearly don’t watch the videos. We mention our attorney on several occasions. The city has a due diligence to uphold as well like or not.

They aren’t telling you what they don’t want you to know for a reason. Why do you think there aren’t lawyers lined up to take this case to court? Because everything is not being told in these videos that is why.
Despite what PF says we were never asked for other appraisals. They shut down negotiations after only 2 weeks. (And we have video proof of these during a recorded discussion with the mayor that will be released later) Once we hired our attorney it went into litigation and hasn’t made it to a point where our appraisal will be presented. We will never go after the local realtor. It’s not going to happen. She is an outstanding local realtor in Sevier County and she didn’t know because again a lis pending should’ve been filed.

Let's talk about that you bought the house for $306000, it was reevaluated at $489669. They offered $490000, and you want 3 million. And you want it as a rental property. 😅 And the city had discussions on the possible routes in 2021. They bought in 2022.

I was watching your video and stopped it so I could read the list of those that wanted the pink route. I read that it was the church that first suggested the hybrid route in this meeting and not the city but you didn't mention that which to me means your trying to hide something from us.

Did you watch the video? Community voted to keep along the creek rather than taking MORE property. This original voted route didn't swing up into a neighborhood. It went through a field in a undeveloped campground (at the time we started this) not residential parcels (not referring to our property)

While I stressed in the past that the city is following Tennessee law with how it is handling the eminent domain lawsuit, I do agree the mayor is corrupt with this conflict of interest. He should have abstained from any voting or decision as to the route. Keep digging and you may have a right to take challenge.

Yep and I do mention that in the video. He did abstain from the actual vote of the route. He did vote to condemn our house. He was not upfront about his interest in the campground during any of the decisions made or plans of the routes.

I'm really not trying to be ugly! There are so many questions/comments that have already been answered in previous videos. If everyone who is following this devious, stressful, story, would go back and watch the videos from the beginning, you would have better knowledge of what exactly is going on here! Sold interest for $0??? I dont think that is even legal as far as "consideration" goes. That is why even when you "give" a car away, such as when a parent gives to their child, it gets listed as $1.00 or something menial like that, but with actual value. And I'm not a lawyer, but officials have stated in order for transfers to be legal, they must have a value for consideration. So $0 sounds hinkey. Like mafia level action.

We addressed this in our last video. It was never about the money. The government had a ridiculous demand so we countered with a ridiculous offer. It was our friendly gesture of saying no. Move the road to where the community voted. Thanks for following us and your support throughout it all!!

You guys didn’t even own that property when the route was approved, you bought the property without having a site survey conducted which would have resulted in the discovery of the plans for the destruction of the home. I’m not in favor of eminent domain at all but had your family done their due diligence prior to buying the home the this wouldn’t be an issue. Which is why I am guessing no lawyer will touch this case. That and the fact that you refused multiple offers and refused to submit any property appraisals when asked for them.
Rusty it’s called Lis Penden. It’s a notice the city is required to file on properties going in eminent domain. They did not. I also don’t understand where you get your details from because you clearly don’t watch the videos. We mention our attorney on several occasions. The city has a due diligence to uphold as well like or not.

@@DonnaBurzell I’ve watched all the videos. Do your own independent research and you will find out that there is a ton of information missing in the videos. They aren’t telling you what they don’t want you to know for a reason. Why do you think there aren’t lawyers lined up to take this case to court? Because everything is not being told in these videos that is why.
Despite what PF says we were never asked for other appraisals. They shut down negotiations after only 2 weeks. (And we have video proof of these during a recorded discussion with the mayor that will be released later) Once we hired our attorney it went into litigation and hasn’t made it to a point where our appraisal will be presented. We will never go after the local realtor. It’s not going to happen. She is an outstanding local realtor in Sevier County and she didn’t know because again a lis pending should’ve been filed.

If it is documented when there was a vote, you can have your atty subpoena the records and if date does not coincidentally match a city hall meeting and advance notice to all parties involved then that is not protocol. I’d have your atty request documentation from the road commission as well seeing dates and authorization. The appraisal for this is very extensive considering more than just a house but risks to environment etc and should have been given to you if you paid for that to represent your interest so you have standing in court you were given an offer you had that is taken in consideration from an appraisal right? Signing over property to family members is done all of the time. However, Mayor Ware has done this to try to make it look like he has no interest in the campground due to his political position. How come the last homeowner or realtor who sold you the place didn't disclose this upcoming problem with the property? You might have a case against them for failure to disclose such a serious property issue.
They covered this, the city did not flag the property so the prior owner, realtor did not know.

I was watching your video and stopped it so I could read the list of those that wanted the pink route. I read that it was the church that first suggested the hybrid route in this meeting and not the city but you didn't mention that which to me means your trying to hide something from us.
Well I also didn’t block that out like I did other things. So if I was trying to hide things wouldn’t I white that out like I did phone numbers and names. That’s also 1 out of 17. Email the city hall ask them if the hybrid route was brought to the community to vote on like these two were. Ask them if there’s a record at all of the hybrid route being discussed even amongst them.

Did you watch the video? Community voted to keep along the creek rather than taking MORE property. This original voted route didn't swing up into a neighborhood. It went through a field in a undeveloped campground (at the time we started this) not residential parcels (not referring to our property)

Today I cancelled our vacation there … every year our family of 11 plus out of town family makes it 34 !! We rent 4 large cabins and stay for an extended stay…. Since this came out because of the obvious lack of concern and mistreatment of this family !!!! Thank you for bringing Attention to this ! We made the decision to NOT spend our money in that city !!!! I pulled up our financial statement from last years vacation & just my family of 11 - Between dining , attractions, dinner theatres , photos & Titanic 😊plus here & there other stuff we did our total was 14,500 US $ . I did mention extended stay …… and we save and work a lot of overtime throughout the year to fund this … Thank GOD we didn’t lose any $ from cancelling . Those figures do NOT reflect out of town family ….. We decided as a family to go on to Sc. Myrtle Beach 🏖️ only problem is moving our dates . But, I will NOT ever spend $ in Pigeon Forge again !!!!!!! 😊
