I've been using the CeraVe retinol resurfacing serum for almost a year now every night. Cleared up all my dark spots on my face and other areas. 10/10 worth the money.
Is it also good for wrinkles??
I wanna try the purple one for my fine lines coz I'm in my early 20s and I also have dry skin. Is the blue one good for those problems
Do you use it at night or day?
Yesss it’s so good. I am hooked. My skin looks amazing. I don’t even wear foundation anymore…chefs kiss 💋
@@acelovesdiyschristopher7023 purple one is kind of good for older people in their 40s or 50s on the appearance of wrinkles and fineline. For early or mid 20s blue one is better
I've been using CeraVe retinol serum for one month now. My face is still purging, but I'm not worried because I researched the side effects. I love how it has made my face smoother and brighter. I have had terrible hyperpigmentation scars since high school, so I can't wait to see the results because I saw many reviews advising patience with this product.
Super helpful, especially when there are so many brands that it becomes overwhelming. 💜
I have super sensitive skin, which makes it more difficult... but, I love having skin care. 😅
Did you use any retinol?
I'm just starting to get into some of these skincare routines and its hard to choose with all the options out there. This is helpful!
More shorts like these with the good and the so good products, thank you
Thank you so much for the information! It's very helpful to hear when and how to apply the products. I don't think there is enough of that happening.
Love the first one! It was the first serum/first retinol serum I've ever used in my life 😂 it's great 🙌🏾
Does it work for removing Acne scars and how much time does it take ?? Plss reply
Same here 😅😊
@@LeVi1O5ik im late but it takes bout 2-3 weeks
A lot of healing ointments work really well I like the one from goldbond, but if you have severe eczema I highly suggest cerave’s healing ointment. It always heals up my skin very well and when I switch to something else my severe eczema just kind of stays. For anything not severe though other ointments are great and sadly cerave is owned by nestle
I love Roc's Vit C Serum. One of my favorites. Actually, I'm liking all the Roc products. Oh! Especially their Moisturizer that smells wonderful!
Which moisterizer are you using of Roc? That smells so good 🙂.
The first Cerave tea helped my orange peel skin smooth out so much with daily use. Also helped clear up the dark spots over time too. Be careful where you get it from though. Walmart sent one from a 3rd party vendor and it was more watery and gritty than the first one I got from actual Walmart.

Can you apply the CeraVe on your body as well, or is it face only?
@@AccurateXLit's not touching the sunlight as much or at all. I've brought some stuff down to my body bc I needed to use it up elsewhere that wasn't my face. Should be fine but ask a professional first.
Love all of these videos! Very helpful!👏🤙💜
just ran out of my cerave retinol bouta go get more😭
Super helpful for the drugstore basics that can get overwhelming. Happy to find you 💗
Shit, aquaphor costs like $8 for a tube like that where I live right now. Was going to buy one earlier today until I saw the price tag..

Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair is still one of the smoth smoothing retinol creams.. Beauty by joseon ginseng retinal eye serum (I use it on face and eye area) is another good one
I love that Cerave resurfacing serum on my chest! I have a few freckles there and they're lightening up 💙
CeraVe is one of the most affordable brands with great results. I am so glad that it has now been launched in India. Lucky for me, I have switched a lot of my patients to CeraVe now. Been loving the results.
We all appreciate you Dr. Sugai💜🌼🌷🥰
Thank you!!❤
Thank you🙏🏾💯
I've used the hyaluronic acid serum from cerave. It's true it's just a waste of money
If you are sensitive to lanolin be careful with putting aquaphor on your face! It burned my skin pretty bad. I prefer the CeraVe Healing ointment, same idea but with no lanolin.
Thanks for sharing Dr👍🏼
Thank you!!! 🎉🎉
I started a retinol and I’m hoping I won’t have any peeling in the first two weeks I decided to use it only once a week and then move my way up I wanna use it three times a week cuz I have other actives I like to use at night hopefully the retinol will be effective
Fam try sandwiching. It's when u put a layer of moisturizer on then the retinol then moisturizer again. It reduces the risk of peeling
I peeled terribly for about the first month. It gave me a few rashes and it looked like I was sunburnt lol, even doing once a week. I eased off for a while and reintroduced it to my skin after about a month, once a week at first, and a few months later I use it daily. No shame if you can’t handle it right away 😅
Thank you ❤
Thank you.
Your info is on the spot dr.Feel the same by the hyaluronic acid
Try the Hey honey good morning facial serum.Thank me later!
Be careful with aquaphor, I developed an allergy to it immediately that is not so uncommon. Used on my lips for a couple of days, it made them bumpy with small raised spots and extremely dry. Took 2 weeks to fully heal
i hear this music & instantly think of it’s always sunny
More adorable please 😊
Thank you
Love the product
Thanks a lot...
Love the ROC vitamin C face wash, haven't tried the serum but I think I will now !😋
What are u gonna do? Drink it?
How about the Loreal Midnight serums or the cream? I'm curious on your review about that.
Dr can recommend any eye cream for eye bag dark circle?
ROC doesn't want to tell you what percentage is in their products, my own experience with them when I asked, and that's a no for me.
Thanks doc, I’ve had to cut down significantly on my skin care spending so your recommendations are always helpful 😊 would love to see what you think about the new Vanicream vitamin C
The cerave retinol is $30-40 in Australia
Just found the vanicream vitamin C....trying it out ❤
ive been eyeing that product
New sub! Thank you sooo much!
Should vitamin C be in airless packaging?
Nice 1 doc
Could you recommend a good sunscreen for Acne Rrosacea?
the equate version is half the price
Cerave resurfacing retinol helps but at the same time it breaks me all the time so I had to stop using it
I have the first retinol serum! Been using it for almost two months. At first, you feel a little dryness and you need to be extremely patient for some noticeable differences. I took photos of my acne scars from day #1 to today. Barely any redness, a majority of my scars are starting to fade, and while it does make your skin feel a little tight and dry, you should always be putting on a moisturizer afterwards anyways. I put the serum on before bed, let my skin absorb that and the moisturizer, then sleep. In the morning I put on sunscreen and reapply. So far, I really love it! ❤️
edit: hi, this was just my experience, and I have no business giving advice that should be received by a professional and not by some random kid on the internet. Wish I could help, but please ask your dermatologist or someone knowledgeable. Thanks :)
Hi, do u mind sharing what moisturizer you use? Thanks in advance!
@@sodasoda3624 of course! CeraVe moisturizing cream. A single container tends to last a long time too.
@@FrenchEclairYall thank u :)
@@FrenchEclairYallso i should apply this innthe morning too? Or only in before bed
Is it good for skin whitening/brightening?
I’ve been using crescent retinol resurfacing serum for 3 weeks and today I looked in to he mirrors and was like woah, my skin looks so plump and smooth now, I’ve always had acne for years so I have a lot of spots but my skin is starting to look like a dolls skin lol almost like someone put a blue filter on me.
Not a fan of the cerave retinol. Slowly eased into it but still breaking out into rashes… gonna try Paula’s Choice retinol next
Hey bro, update? How do you like Paula's Choice one?
Use in the night time not in the daytime use spf 30
Can you do a video on sun screen
I love cerave but it is not affordable in my country 😢
This must be new product from them? Never saw it, can’t wait to try it
I use all CeraVe products. Aquaphor has lanolin😢 so I avoid it. I used to love it before I found out I had yhe allergy to lanolin.
Please make a video of blackhead Whitehead and open pores..Which one is good for cerave ...Pleasd for sensitive skin
Everyday I wash my skin with besan and no more black heads. I have my besan in an air tight glass jar and a spoon in my bathroom. I take one teaspoon of besan into the palm of my hands mix in a little tap water, make a thin consistency and lather it on to my face and neck in a circular motion and wash it off right away. Haven’t had any black heads for 6 months.
Followed by penny size amount of coconut oil to moisturize for face and neck
Amazing tight, plump skin in 3 weeks
I use this method twice a day morning and evening
If you don’t like coconut oil just use whatever safe cetaphil daily facial moisturizer.
Yes hvthe blue Cera ve retinol ❤🎉
Hi❤
Ty🎉❤ Peace👍
I thought u said affordable
Thanks again, opinion on boots No7? I also use the ordinary azelaic acid and resveratol ferulic acid and I was wondering your thoughts on these.
Vichy or Roc vitamin c? Which one is better?
I'm sad that CeraVe puts alcohol in their serums
Alcohol serves a purpose in formulations and you can't assume that it will be drying by just looking at it in the ingredient list. There are also various types of alcohol, some of which are used in emulsions to keep products from separating. Unless you have a hight ratio of alcohol in a liquid product that will have long term/frequent contact with your skin, in which case you'll feel sensitive. But skin bounces back and it's not likely to cause harm to the barrier as evidence by a study that tested the effect of hand sanitizer to skin of the hands.
Isn't the only alcohol to be concerned about in skincare denatured alcohol?
I think that Kevin is just as liable for the neglect and abuse but what they lawyer said about leaving is in line with Jodie’s “death of the relationship to be reborn” tactic. This is touched on by Adam. I don’t think he’s lying, but I also think this is equally his fault/responsibility as a parent.
Do you use this every night
Can i use it under my eye bags as well?
Can we use regular night??
The Roc brand has fragrance which can cause reactions 🤔
Hi! Would you recommend the retinol serum from Cerave to someone with mild rosacea? Thanks 😊
I'm using retinol every third day. What can I use for acne spot treatment while using retinol?
Thank you for the information, Doc.
For a person of color with acne proned skin and hyperpigmentation, would you suggest roc vitamin c serum or cerave vitamin c 10% ?
