FWIW. Myself & many other people experience poor digestion and fatigue, etc after eating plain white rice on its own, but when mixing it with a sauce it goes down way better. Not sure why, but I have experienced this too many times for it not to be linked. Add some organic tomato sauce, mango sauce or even better - steam some pumpkin or squash and mash it up when soft. Mix the puree into the rice and you got yourself a natural risotto. Experiment on what works for yourself.

I have noticed since eating unlimited carbs , the number on the scales have gone up 4-5 kilos . The 500-600 carbs a day and water 3-5 grams per carb as retention. From cycling performance perspective the 4-5 kilos is not going to enhance cycling performance
