For blocking the passenger window up until such time as you can get a new regulator, need a piece of wood about 1/2x 2x26-1/4" to jam the window in place, 26-3/8 may be too long, but, it is tight. I didn't find any weird stuff on my 09 that wasn't mentioned here. Watch when pushing on the push plug pin in the panel, it punches out really easily, like right out and gone. Fairly easy job really. My window stuck about 3" from the bottom, glass ret bolts happened to line up with the holes in the panel, made my day.
hi brad... thanks for the video. to replace a broken door glass for a 2000 Toyota Sienna. I would think the process is the same? thoughts? what is the best way to remove all the broken glass? vacuum? I hoouope to hear from you with your recommendation. thanks again.
BradsAutoGlass I already took it in to get fixed but I was curious how to access those clips without them falling to the bottom of the panel. You pulled the window straight out but if it’s broken it didn’t seem to be that easy.

How do you get the passengers side rear door glass in? The window shape is different then the front.

how do you get the plastic mounts through the weather stripping?
Without the one door trim, the inside strip is gone. Gives plenty of room.

Nice vid. Where can I get the plastic mounts at bottom of glass? 2009 Tacome LR window clips broke/split. BTW - Now I know 2 people from Kinglsey, MI.
What if your window was broken? Is this a good solution or should you take the entire assembly off?

I was bummed the part of the video of actually removing the glass was deleted :(
How could I take out my original glass if it’s completely shattered?
Just take the door card off and vacuum out all of the broken glass then order a replacement from us.
