Yeah that's how I feel too. I understand S550's objectively perform and handle better, but to make a S550 turn heads you have to go insane on it to separate it from the other thousands of 'em. Put some nice rims on an S197, maybe lower it a bit, maybe change the hood up and you got something that looks real mean. I think they nailed the aesthetic with S197s. 2015 little more bland, 2016 a little more bland, then 2017 came and they've been really 'blah' since then. I mean viewed in a vacuum they're an 'okay looking', European-inspired generic sports sedan, and I'm sure performance-wise they're a treat to drive. But they lost any 'Mustang' attitude they had - they don't have that classic silhouette that really speaks toward its heritage. But I suppose I shouldn't give them shit; the 2021 Mustang is a four door Crossover SUV (I kid you not) and that is a travesty so grave even the sin of the first four Cylinder Mustang II in the 70's looks minor in comparison

Is ur manifold ported? What was your experience with the 18 manifold? I got kooks headers and pmas on 91 tune. But want to move onto the 18 ported mani, 47lb for e85 and a Lund tune.
@@MrChow408 2018 mani flows better all the way through the power band, high and low vs boss 302 mani makes better power up top but loses down low...you can port the '18 but mine is not...

I'm looking for a clean '12 myself. Really tough to find a clean, (preferably 1 owner) stock s197. I always loved the front end look. Yeah, later technology has been tempting but the raw, visceral ride you get with these, especially with some boost, is what I'm looking for. I have a '15 Challenger 4.6L SRT but I never fell in love with it, never even named it!

The 6.4 hemi is a sick motor but you really can't supercharge it without doing a welded crank and other motor work to SAFELY boost it. I know others have done it without blowing their sh1t up but that would NOT be MY luck lol. Plus I really love the looks of that gen Stang... Thanks for responding Bro., you've strengthened my decision - now to find a nice specimen!
This car is sick this is why solid axle and manual trans can't be beat its so raw and menacing and not refined everything opposite of the s550 nothing against those cars but these cars are where its at!!!
Way to send it and keep it straight, good shit! Must first mods, billet oil pumps gears, crank sprocket, clutch and DS, then add the power, jmo. Also increase cooling capability with a better radiator, the M-8005-MBR (Boss radiator) works just dandy and the fitment is perfect.

I live in Florida, have a 14". I had a vortech V3 but I pulled it out, it wasn't for me. The car ran hot most of the time and around the trac after 10 minutes the engine would get way too hot and would have to slow down. Eventually burned out my cooling fan and I wanted to replace with a stronger fan, didn't fit. So I pulled out the v3 and I'm actually happier.
Alejandro Flores The install was fine and tuned by the guys over there. The set up just wasn't for me. Couldn't safely enjoy the car in the higher band. I enjoy hard turning and endurance racing. Try taking your car to a real track, not a drag strip and you'll see what I'm saying. It's not for everyone. Cheers, great content.
Not sure if anyone asked if there's any suspension work done to the car? What's the setup? No wheel well gap so I'm assuming you're running drag springs? Maybe just the perfect amount of sidewall? what do you feel about swapping a 4.6L 3v to a 5.4L 500 engine? The gt500 has always been my dream car. But I have an 08 gt prem. and I've been seeing 500 engines on ebay, that would make my total car value around the same as a gt500 would cost. I dont want to go out and buy one and start that whole payment process again!!! what do you think? is it a worthwhile swap? or would a coyote swap make more sense? Idk if i like those coyotes too much the old 5.4L has been proven LOL

How is that rear seat delete working out for you? Extra road noises? How about losing a few pound and you can keep those seat. And maybe a sport bra
