You know, despite all those notes, you never seem be in a hurry - We just love it!
Not only is she a violinist, but in this piece as the lead violinist she acts as the conductor. She is so talented. If ever I had the opportunity to behold her with my eyes in person, I would shed a tear, but not as many tears as I have already shed listening to the pieces she has played.

Everyone's performance was magnificent in this masterful composition by the brilliant master A. Vivaldi. The filming is regrettable because it does not demonstrate the individual performance of the musicians, especially that of the baroque guitar, whose face does not even appear and that of the maestro playing the harpsichord. There was no movement of the camera by the operator, who appears to be a spectator of the wonderful performance. Congratulations to everyone and the virtuoso soloist Alana.💐🎻👍👏👏🌻💫💫💫💫💫 🇧🇷
Alana is a revelation to me. She is a joy to watch as well as to listen to her. Her technique is impeccable and the enjoyment she derives is uplifting. More than almost anyone else she reminds me of Jascha Heifetz' technique and tone oh so many decades ago when I was a boy.

It is hard to put into words the experience of listening to Alana's performance but it is pure bliss. The joy of music permeates from her and embodies everyone who plays with her and listens to her. We are fortunate to have her and those extremely virtuoso musicians uplifting our spirits during these trying times. And thanks for putting this wonderful video for all to enjoy!

Quite sure ! I completely agreed !! Greetings from VENEZIA ! ! ! Very few location are still standing in VENEZIA related to ANTONIO VIVALDI the birth house is unknown, the church and the seminary where he became priest, San Giminiano, demolished by Napoleon, his Teatro sant'Angelo erased, the church of Pietà itself was rebuilded after his death ... still stand the church where he was baptised the not so popular but very nice SAN GIOVANNI IN BRAGORA.
That led my to a very fascinating wikipedia rabbit hole, thank you.

NON "Anna Maria della Pietà . . . from the Ospedale", MA Anna Maria from the 'Ospitale La Pietà' (uno dei 4 ospedali- orfanotrofi veneziani, quello dove insegnava Vivaldi). Poichè quegli 'ospedali' accoglievano giovinette orfane, bastarde o povere, queste venivano conosciute all'ESTERNO non con un cognome (che solitamente non avevano) ma con il nome proprio seguito da quello dell'ospedale in cui vivevano: quindi 'Anna Maria della Pietà', oppure la 'Zabetta degli Incurabili' o la 'Margherita dei Mendicanti'. Il magistrato ed erudito francese Charles de Brosses (1709-77), grande viaggiatore ed esperto di musica, nel 1739, vantando l'alto livello esecutivo delle orfanelle-musiciste veneziane (a suo giudizio superiore a quello degli strumentisti dell'Opéra de Paris), scriveva: "La Chiaretta (de l'hopital de la Piété) serait surement le premier violon d'Italie, si l'Anna Maria, des Hospitalettes, ne la surpassait encore"! All'INTERNO degli ospedali-orfanotrofi le ragazze-musiciste venivano identificate con il nome proprio seguito dallo strumento che suonavano; così Anna Maria veniva identificata come "Anna Maria dal violin".

Alana es bellísima y súper talentosa , no sé cuál de ambas cosas lo es más; pero que no se le ocurra incursionar en música moderna o el violín electrónico como Lindsey Sterling ( de la cual yo también soy fan) . Su lugar es este ,interpretando como nadie a Vivaldi 😍👍🏻🇲🇽

I enjoyed the wonderful concerto of Vivaldi almost daily since Covid times through Baroque music live streams. In my opinion, the first movement is the most rhythmic music I had listened to in the several forms of western classical music which I happened to listen to from 1979 onwards .The tempo of the music is such that I used to dream of going up in a swing in tandem with the tempo of the magnificent music. The rhythmic music of Vivaldi the Great and the unprecedented tempo! Your rendition was excellent- in tandem with the expectations of the maestro( I presume). Gracias.

It's a personal preference but there's a lot to appreciate in the way Heifetz presented himself on stage - no smiles, no histrionics,... just the playing of all the notes in tune and at the right time.
