Well explained guide , I’ve been around cameras for 40 years I guess now called a old timer lol. And some of these settings go completed over my head , give me a 20 year old Hasselblad and I’m at home , just bought a 6600 in 2023 , been using Olympus for quite. Few years as I found them as near to a old camera as possible, I will have a play and do a few tweaks see how I progress , the picture profiles seem easier on Olympus and Fuji to understand, Sony seem to have over complicated it . I won’t be doing video it’s more Photography, but it’s possible some basic stuff
Thanks for the tips. I have 2 a6600s. One is older, and one is brand new. Is it possible to replicate all camera settings from the old one to the new one?
Thank you for the tips! Just got my Sony a6600. I'm heading to rainforest and will be taking low light photos with sky in the background. Can I set a picture profile for those light conditions? I'm not sure how to get the best quality photo in those conditions? I'm playing with Aperture priority, changing ISO and working with spot focus to learn more. Any suggestions that would help me?
Hey! Thanks for this video. I'm wondering if you can help me figure out something. There are certain functions such as the ISO in the pic setting and the exposure mode in the video setting that does not allow me to turn it on or off. Specifically, it says: "this operation or setting is not available as follows: intelligent mode" Is there an easy easy way to fix this?
I am trying to transfer raw files to my smartphone from my a6600. But it isn't downloading the images as a raw file. What should I do. Tried the same with the a7iii and it downloaded the images as raw on my phone.
How long have you owned the a6600? You skipped right past "Tracking: Flexible Spot" ??????? For sports, fast moving subjects, etc. It's one of the cameras biggest attributes, almost over any camera available. Also, just to note, single shooting is an excellent druve mode for slower focusing lenses such as a Zeiss 32mm F1.8. Yes, auto focus is huge with the a6600, but adapting vintage lenses (at times) is wonderful with this camera with its ability to 2-stage close focus and excellent mirrorless imaging. I think your review of the a6600, while likely aporeciated by those looking to buy, largely misses on a lot of real photographic functionality. Something a lot of TH-cam video bloggers do. Anywwy, thanks for the review. Enjoy!
Excellent explanation of when you would use different colour profiles. Very thorough walk through of the camera settings. Thank you.

Totally agree!
Does this camera supports any zoom 55 600? Is there any affordable one?

It's not available for intelligent mode. The very nature of that mode won't allow for ISO changes. You'll have to switch to Program or other modes.
Awesome video!! Much appreciated.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is the cannon RF 800 MM compatibles with this camera?
Awsome dude!
really appreciated
Can the still photos be set to look like the old Kodak Ectcrom film blue green
What Lens do you used to make this video?
I used a sigma 18-35
Many of the functions you share are disabled on my camera. Is this because i am set to only JPEG format?
it either becasue you set it to jpg or it could also be because you are in automode
