I love the simplicity of this technique. Thank you. I'm cooking one now. Gonna cut it in half, one for a BBQ tomorrow and one for a birthday party the day after.
i hate to criticize but the char is sub-par and way too much Octo stuck to the grill pan. Nothing wrong with brushing iether the pan or the Octo with some oil
I cooked and grilled one last night. It was a hit. However, it shrank a lot. I wonder, will it retain more moisture and consequently be larger after it's boiled for an hour instead of cooking it this way and sweating the water out of it? By the way, the broth was delicious too.
real think because i do the same think.but sometime also i use sous vide in temperature 80 degress celcius its about 5 hours. i look so many other video is fake and octopus stiil tap.

Don’t think so - octopus 🐙 shrinks a LOT all the time, it is full of water. Getting the flavour and the tenderness is the key
Here's a trick to make it not stick. Octopus shredding apart sticking to the grill

Thats not an octopus, it’s an septobus, as one leg is (nearly) missing.
septobus if it was completely missing...given it is nearly i would say it is technically an octopus? :)
What ?
You destroyed it, but anyway this octopus died one year ago 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You’re cute
😊😊
