I just got this and I think it’s great and the app is great and how easy it is to use but my only concern is the plug, where it plugs into the electrical outlet, the plug gets VERY WARM. I tried different outlets and same thing. I don’t know if I should be concerned…
I got mine last week and it worked great for the 1st day. However now it never detects if the cats are eating and never ends the first meal so it just stays open and there is nothing I can do in the app to fix the issue. I have reset and reconfigured it multiple times with no luck. Waiting for customer service to reply. Really hope I can get it resolved as this would be a great product if it actually works.

I can only speak about my personal experience - and in my personal experience, this is a great product. I didn't have any issues with it. That's why I offered to contact the brand if he doesn't hear back from them with a satisfying answer. There's always a chance that a product is a lemon. So if I was PetLibro I would exchange it with a new one.

I just received mine and I’m already running into an issue. On the first feeding, the door jammed and asked me to reset the machine. I did and wanted to feed my cat immediately after resetting, but it wouldn’t allow me to do so. PETLIBRO claims there was an update on 5/7 to allow a “feed now” function during the preparing stage, but that function is nowhere to be found. Then, it jammed again the second time it opened. Curious if you have any troubleshooting insight?

I noticed it gets warm after a three-day use, but not hot. If it is getting too hot, though, I would contact Petlibro's customer service to ask if it is normal. Maybe they can exchange the cord...

I would live,this,but two problems, first, my cats wont eat cold or room temperature food. Second, one of my cats is greedy and would eat the other cats food. I physically have to monitor feeding time.
Your cats don't like room temperature food? Do you normally heat it up for them? Because this feeder with thaw the food half an hour before it opens up... just something to check in on. And as for your greedy little furtiger, I will post PETLIBRO's new One RFID Pet Feeder a little later today - it would be purrfect - so definitely check out that video in a few hours :)
I have a cat who only eats a little bit of wet food at a time, leading to so much waste. Ive resorted to just dry food and use wet food as a treat. With this, can i set this to leave the food out and available for only 15 minutes or so? Then the leftover food goes back in to be refrigerated?
Hi Nick, yes, you can set the timer for 15 minutes. Also, I'd only put a tiny little amount in there if you use it as a snack so that you don't waste any food. As for dry food - if you can please avoid kibble because it's not the best nutrition for our cats. There are great freeze-dried raw options out there like, for example, this one here: amzn.to/4bIK1yE - worth checking out :)
I just ordered mine and it will arrive tomorrow. Help me to understand how it is a 3 day feeder. I have 2 cats and typically I feed them 4 times per day. So do I put that full daily amount the 2 cats eat repeated for each of the 3 compartments to be accessed daily? If so, does that mean the cats have to eat that days amount of food all in one meal time or will that SAME one compartment keep opening and closing for the 4 times I set on my app? In other words, would they have remaining food to access from that one daily compartment until the food is all gone...and then the next day it would rotate to the 2nd compartment for the same process each day?
Hi Kathleen, once one compartment closes, the 2nd one will open at the time you program it. In your case, I would suggest putting the food for both of your cats in each of the 3 compartments and programming the feeder to keep them open for a good hour. By then your cats will have eaten it. Then program the other two meal times according to when you normally feed them throughout the day. You will have to give them the last meal of the day in person. In other words, the feeder will be good for only one day since you feed your cats 4 wet food meals a day. Often people feed their cats wet food once a day when they get away for the weekend and leave out freeze-dried raw food for the rest of the day - and in these cases, it'll be good for 3 days. So it's more like a 3-meal feeder that dispenses food at the time (any time) you program. Works absolutely great! I would suggest this to PETLIBRO, though, because your question makes a lot of sense! Maybe they'll be able to improve the feeder with the next model.
Hi I just got 3 of these delivered. Does it only open during scheduled times? Can’t it just open whenever the cats approach it I have 5 cats so don’t want it to only stay open for 30 min is this possible?
It only opens during the times you schedule, because it thaws the food 30 minutes before opening. Since you got three of them I would schedule them at different times so that there is food open for them at all times. Also, you can edit the end time when the food bowl closes up again. It is really a great device so congrats on buying three of them - great choice!

@@astheriez5006 Not sure what it takes to create this unit without cords... out of my wheelhouse 😆but if it helps: our cats have not played with it. Plus, I usually put a twist tie around the cord and tuck it behind the device. And yes, I think it would work well for a toy-size dog!
We are on day #2 and our cat runs away, afraid when the bell sounds. How long does it take for a cat to warm up to a new feeding method? She is on prescription wet food and this would be ideal for us if we can get her used to it.
Does not keep the food cold enough to be out of the "danger zone" My house is 75°F and it keeps the food right around 70°F, so not really refrigerated.
I would stay away from PetLibro, the right and the left hand for customer service have no clue what they are doing. I don't like the $12 cost tor return one of the two items that under warranty. Try another feeder to avoid frustration and hours of headaches

Good idea, but a number of reviews on Amazon mentioned that the plug on the unit gets very hot. Sounds like a potential safety issue. I was going to order one, but I'm going to pass on this until this issue is sorted out. It's a good idea, but I am not going to risk burning my place down and having my cat burnt to a crisp.
I contacted PETLIBRO for you and here is their response: "We'd like to explain that the charger contains a big inductor to deliver power to the feeder. Personally, I feel safer leaving a good amount of kibble and fresh water in my cat's water fountain instead of buying this feeder right now. We just had a minor fire in our apartment 3 weeks ago due to a bad plug. Fortunately we were both home at the time to handle the situation in a timely manner. So you can probably understand our cautionary stance at this time

Freeze dried raw? Not yet because our cat can be finicky at times. We do give him freeze dried treats though which he loves. We will check out the raw food you linked

😂not yet! Something to bring to Petlibro's attention. However, this is more for cats and small portions. If you have a small dog the bowl size is OK 😊

Give her a little bit of time - it might take a week two - she'll get used to it once she recognizes that the sounds are nothing to be scared of :)

The feeder is not recommended for raw food! Also, if it doesn't go lower than that you might want to check in with PetLibro...
