My level of English is A1, but I understood absolutely everything. This is one of the best channels with useful, clear video lessons. Thank you! Great job.
This is so helpful thanks a lot. Also for those searching for "Import Image as Plane" at the begging, in 4.2 it's on Add -> Image -> Reference No need to select from add-ons.
I can't believe Blender is striving right now back in 2015 it was one of the shitty 3d software that everyone ridicule about like GIMP, now it has strive and become so popular, Kudos to the team who never gave up on it.
I wish you included possible errors that happen during the process, for example at 1:19 following your directions exactly I am not able to scale vertical only as it controls all corners of the scaling so for some of us it becomes difficult to follow
Hey, for the start of the can, you could also use a single vertex tracing the outline and then use the spin tool to get the resolution you want. Here's a tip: keep the origin of the vertex centered on the 3D cursor.
For making the upper bottle of the cane fist combine both the circle by pressing Ctrl+j and then fill the circle otherwise it's not going to fill the gap between two different objects
I'm having a really hard time making the upper part could u please explain it more after hiding the entire part of the can i cant see what he was doing
5:20 When I try to extrude the object inward, it only extrudes from one side while the other side pushes outward. How can I fix this so that the extrusion happens uniformly inward?
i'm trying to create a wavy top for a can, but when i extrude and move the vertices on the x and y axes to form the waves, the whole circle is distorting. instead of just extruding inward, one side of the circle moves outward. how can i extrude the circle to create a wavy shape, but keep the extrusion consistent and inward without distorting the shape?
instead of keeling it simple you made it so complicated while creating the topology of upper part that if some beginner tries to learn from this then he will quit blender within 2 days assuming that it's not made for him
I'm working on this 3rd day already and got stuck on 11:50 When I grab the edges and try to move them along y axis the edges just go straight instead of nicely following the topology like yours and instead of 6 faces i got only 4 😵💫 Maybe I've just overworked and should grab some Zs but would appreciate the reply if anyone knows what is the issue I'm facing.. 🙏
I had a similar problem, I hope I understood correctly what you meant, try moving these edges along y axis and making them smaller at the same time, hope it will help
10:33 I wanna know when you duplicate that circle , why they were in same layer and other duplicate also connected with each other without and command or key . Please reply .
For this, go into edit mode (Tab) Select the circle, press Shift + D to duplicate, then snap along the axis which you want the circle to be aligned (for this tutorial, I have snapped along y axis). To fill the faces, in the edit mode, select two edges and press F to fill the faces.
Never mind, figured it out, you have to make sure there’s no modifiers on the cylinders, so I just deleted the subdivision modifier because I can reapply it later anyway.
6:15 you have to leave edit mode then go back to it to edit the circle. I was so confused for a while there. Guess i was the only one since there are no other comments about it.
The author used the "Alt" key to select a circle of vertices and used the "G" key to move them up the Z-axis. Everything is quite simple. (If I understand what you mean)
And I also want to know why the hidden can body would pop out sometimes or disappear while I switched between objects/modes/viewports/workspaces. It just confuses me sometimes.
you are in a 3d plane if oyu push y axis accidentally on a can it will be either in below or top of the object.View modes works on a 3d plane so whatever position it is (stackingly on either y or x or z axis it will show the first object on the most top position). This is a 3d plane so you should consider the physics of a 3d plane.
@ I think I understand what you said but I’m not sure if we are talking about the same thing. You’re talking about the perspectives, I suppose, like when we’re moving around the camera in the 3d space? But the “hidden can” here I mean is that I hid the can body by clicking “H” but sometimes it just shows up or gets invisible again.
and I seem to know why now. Because when you hide something in edit mode when editing some object, the hiding function only works in edit mode when you’re editing the specific object. But when you hide it in object mode, it will be hidden in every mode.
hii bro i am installing right rigacar addon in blender 4.0 but after installing it doesn’t appear on my panel.. please do something what should i do .?
