They don't always show off the new supply. Many of them keep the new supply hidden to protect their own reputation of being too quick to jump into a new relationship. It's orchestrated, it's managed and controlled to stop family and friends from talking.
My ex husband left the marriage for new supply, but once I went and got legal advice when I found out about her he went CRAZY she was thrown under the bus too, next new supply he told me she was TOP NOTCH and I said would he pass on my condolences to her (that didn't go well either) she left him think she saw right threw him, he must now be onto his 12th - 15th supply but NOTHING seems to last, at this stage he 66 and just looks RIDICULOUS, I now well divorced and live in PEACE and even though it was EXTREMELY HARD at the time I now think it's soo FUNNY NO FEELING AT ALL THERE, just now feel EXTREMELY BLESSED that I don't have to take his ABUSE.

Thank you for the great information about supply. It's startling that narcissists need someone to see them as superior or degrade to feel good about themselves. This video explains why when I set boundaries, I am often discarded or become the target of a narcissist's rage.
Idk but I can only assume there was so much narcissistic injury and they want to show everyone and their ex that see I can get someone and be happy. I am wanted and just because you left me “look everyone and you wants me.” One would think oh gee look he cares and does love me because he’s making super sure he rubs her in our faces and to our friends. He shows his family and friends see someone does love me because my ex was bad or didn’t appreciate me. They need to also avoid pain and grief so they must avoid this and now want to project that towards their ex. The new supply is the person who takes their mind, heart and soul to avoid grief and sadness. It’s very sad they love that way.

Whether that’s true or not I don’t know, but it feels like she enjoys sewing that seed of doubt in my mind, and seeing me struggle with it. I really think they feed off making people feel jealous and insecure - it gives them a sense of self worth that they can’t create within themselves.
I discarded him & he showed up to a nightclub I introduced him to/we went together with his new supply. Mlnd you, he has a gf at home (serial cheater!!!)
My narcissistic ex moved on too quickly. He was cheating under my nose and I was unable to see it until things ballooned out of proportion as he constantly accused me of cheating while he was actually the one doing it. I also gave him spending money as he has no permanent job. I asked him to pay me back and he refused saying that he never asked for the money in the first place. Now, he constantly flexes his new girlfriend and even calls her the same endearment as he used to call me. Out of spite, I tried to warn the new supply but only received backlash. So much injustice felt that I just want to get even but I know that I will never win against them.

Since he’s been with her, he put up a gazebo and outdoor furniture in the back yard, bought the SAME truck same color I bought 4 months earlier, and then traded in the RV we had together for a bigger, new RV. They went on a weekend trip and just came back. I’m not selling my house because this piece of garbage. HE needs to move or karma please don’t fail me!!! He drives by my house EVERY day to go to work and also on his way home. HELP!!!!!!!

My narcissist wife discarded and had someone on the back burner. She can’t show her new supply off just yet because the split was only 45 days ago and I was still living in the house until 7 days ago. If she shows off her new supply her family and friends would figure it out immediately and smear campaign against me would be invalidated. She actually doesn’t know I know about her other guy.

I’m 21 yr old F and next to the textbook perfect symptoms of his covert narcissism I stayed and ended up pregnant to which he faked being okay about it right up until I couldn’t have an abortion. Once he broke up with me over the text and blocked me on everything, he went down the list of girls he used to know. He is seeing someone right now who is extremely beautiful and in all ways better than me (social media wise anyways) I don’t actually know her. But it rips me apart because I feel so crazy. And when I miscarried at 16 weeks, I called him crying because I needed support and he said in the most robotic tone “I have nothing else to say” and stayed quite on the line until I hung up. He didn’t sound like him even tho he had always portrayed to me a very stoic way in conversation. Then his mom said to me “he’s no longer yours, you are at fault for this.” I wish people could see what actually happened. It’s been a year now, I feel awful. I’ve blocked him on everything but I just hear about what he’s up to and who he’s seeing because we live in a small area. I just hope that I never take the bate when he runs back to me.
Imagine of a person with exact story as yours, but again accepted to marry and shared life with this type of person for 15 years. Much of it to do with love you have for them (though they never loved you), and out of your ignorance of their disorder and your empathy. No human can imagine these abuses. It's intense, killing especially for your children. There is no life there. Knowledge is light, knowledge is power and thank you for the videos. Keep thriving. You will find peace in the end.
