Camp chef ovens are dangerous the regulator valves are bad if you use it once or twice you'll be fine but if you use it all the time it will catch fire out of the regulator valve

I have an issue with mine as I'm running on a new propane tank, new 37 mBar regulator but only getting a very weak flame on the burners. Oven seems OK. I've tested for propane leaks and it all seems OK. Any ideas?

If you are using a propane tank regulator in addition to the regulator on the oven, it will not work correctly.

Only thing I can think of is to hook a different propane tank up to it to see if anything changes. If not, are you running both burners at once? I know when we’ve tried that in the past, we don’t get very strong flames because of the split on propane.

hi just got this unit. one issue is the tops work fine but the oven wont stay lit? the flames on and dies right out as if theres a blockage or sorts. any ideas or similar experiences thanks

Hi John! With the oven, usually I think you have to push and hold it in even after it lights. Hold it and slowly after a few seconds start letting off and make sure it stays. It needs a little time to get a good flow of gas I think. Let me know if this helps!

Try a regulator reset. Turn off tank and stove. Loosen hose fitting to release gas in the line. Re-Tighten hose fitting. Open tank about a half a turn. This clears the lines and resets the regulator, may cure a variety of issues.

These have a lot of issues due to bad regulator valve and they do Leach and will catch fire I'm starting class action lawsuit against camp chef I was badly burnt

I was badly burnt t buy one of these units due to failure they leak propane out the regulator valve which makes a weak flame be very careful it will catch on fire that's what happened to me I was badly burnt
