I genuinely love your overall attitude. I don't have kids (I'm only 14), but I do have a younger cousin that loves snow cones and he's been BEGGING to have a snow cone machine for this summer. I'd be happy to give his parents this recipe.
Wow! That was incredible. I love some cones, slushes, & icees. My late dear cousin Arthur Geter III & I use to put our drinks in the freezer to make them icy cold. I am 38 years old now & still keeping up with the generation. By the way great video.
Just picked up a snow cone maker at a garage sale and was surprised at the cost of syrup. This looks like a cheap easy alternative, will for sure be trying this!
I was just reminiscing with somebody not that long ago about the sno-cone machines from our childhood. And now this! I would definitely be that person who wouldn't think to refrigerate the flavoring haha.
Thank You for Sharing I Will Be Using this Recipe but I'll Use Food Coloring To Help Colors Pop Off the Ice This Is Also A More Costly Way of HAving Lots of Syrup for Cheaper the Price and Still getting Great Flavor Everybody Loves Kool Aid
@@Funfoods I love it also their really awesome... You can use it for so many things. Who ever invented this is a life saver for real. Thanks again for recipe.
Hey! I just bought a nostalgia snow cone maker and I have a question. Can you add 2 cups of sugar, 2 cups of water, and 2 kool aid pouches to get 16 fluid ounces (2 cups) of syrup?
What this be okay for commercial use in a coffee shop/bagel type environment? I wouldnt tell the customers we have koolaid mix of course but would be nice.
I did it and the syrup tastes like sugar and water and it was not the best so got any tips? But after all not that bad actually it's pretty good just that Its tastes like water and alot of sugar
Parents dont allow you to use a blender? Scroll down Simple grab a bow fill watter half way put in freezer (dont put plastic above the water) Wait for 5 or 6 hours then take it out then grab a big soon and put it sideways against the icebowl then scoop up some ice also just crush some ice if there big or medium sized chunks Thats all enjoy that tip!
U can probably try to crush the ice with a brick or something......but if she let's you use the stove....why won't she let you use the blender.... A blender is safer than a stove......im confuzzeled

The Recipe Is Three Cups Of Sugar For One Cup Of Water

Here's a tip, add food coloring to make the colors show more
Good point
No don’t I stained my tongue with food colouring
Ayla Ehtisham obviously not lol
Roblox Friends LOL
@@Ca11i3 bruh food coloring is in most food, its literally meant to be eaten why would it permanently stain your mouth
Great recipe! I adjusted it a bit by using 3/4 cup of water instead of a cup and it produced a thicker syrup. To each their own! 🙂👍
Awesome
Would recommend this over a thinner syrup, I feel like otherwise the liquid-er syrup would sink to the bottom faster.
The kool-aid recipe for syrup is 1/2 cup water to 1 cup sugar
Just picked up a snow cone maker at a garage sale and was surprised at the cost of syrup. This looks like a cheap easy alternative, will for sure be trying this!
you can just put ice in a blender

Thanks so much for this your awesome
I do this for my soda stream. Make koolaid soda with it and the kids love it. I even substitute sugar with splenda for sugarfree suryp
Cool. Thanks for watching.
Kimmie, how much Splenda do you use and what kind
@@carolwolfrum9205 it's equal parts Splenda measure to equal parts sugar. So if you're replacing a cup of sugar you use a cup of Splenda measure.
I have small packets of Splenda to use in my tea. Then I know a person that cooks with Splenda, which is made for cooking/baking
What a perfect way to cool off.
An easy summertime recipe for sure
