Good job kumander. If this was a typical Pinoy motovlog, this will be a multiple part video with a lot dramas and self righteousness and they will try to milk this as long as possible. But you actually made it with only 1 video, doing all of your objectives and having fun. Great job!
You're the first foreigner to have a vlog travelling literally from Mindanao to Luzon and this will help me use as a guide when I have my travels soon in my RV so thank you sir! Safe travels mate!
Interesting that you are RVing. Ive thought of this idea but with van conversion, hammocks, tent etc and of course great resorts here and there. My thoughts about places to park are just ask and get permission and offer to pay landowner . I find many filapino to be kind courteous and generous.
@@johnnycakeslim I think the challenge is getting into Barge's (boats that carry vehicles) crossing from island to island. Excited to explore soon! I'm gonna name my RV The Nomad.
There are a couple of videos of doing that route from north to south. Going from Naval, Leyte riding south. If you go, do it over a week instead of an iron-butt ride. There are so many places to visit and explore that he missed.

I'm retired American living on the island of Camiguin renting a small house on the west side. Today is our first day of rain in months. It's delightful to watch your trip. I compliment your jovial style and fine concise editing to make it fun to watch. Thanks
I've also travelled from Davao City to Valenzuela, Manila and it took me the same number of days, except that I just took a short nap on my second day at shell gas station Naga instead of a hotel; and, it's true that your butt will hurt for a long ride but the journey and scenery are very enjoyable. I've used the motorstar 200ii sportsbike. More videos and maybe trying motocamping, hope we're able to have a same trip sometime in the future. I plan to go by land from Manila to Davao this year, 2024. 👌🏼
Nice video, greatly enjoyed it. Looks like the VStrom did a great job. If by banking your talking about curves try learning about 'counter steering', it works great. Just watch out for those slippery corners (wet leaves and loose sand) Thanks, Kumander...Jim

You know you're saying something about the roads in the PH when your first off roading test 1:34 for the new motor bike is on the road. Ha ha! So glad the new motor bike is working out so well for this trip. Aside from being generally tired, it seems to be good for avoiding the other aches and pains you would have been feeling with the older one. The lights on the San Juanico Bridge are such a sight to behold, and so much incredible scenery along the way. The motor vlogging gods seemed to be with you for catching timely boats on this leg of your journey! Let's hope that continues.🙏👍🤙 Joke: How can you tell a happy motorcyclist? Biggs is a prominent American Diner-style restaurant chain in the Bicol region. I believe there is one branch in Manila, somewhere in Fairview, Quezon City.
That’s what I plan when I move from the UK to the Philippines later this year- getting a new motorbike and doing some epic road trips. I’m considering the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
Last year I spent 8 months riding 20,000 kilometers all around the Philipines on a Honda CB500X. I zig-zagged all across the islands, did a lot of rough off road riding at times, and even crossed a couple rivers that had no bridges. Never had a dull moment nor a bad experience. Sure a couple of flat tires I easily fixed and back on the road in 15 minutes. And I did manage to break a couple frame bolts by riding too hard off road, but every day was a joy to experience. Even the rainy days were fun. Soon, I will begin another loop around the Philippines again and I am eager to get back on the road after spending several months relaxing on sandy shores in the Visayans. Ride safe!
Any rain is a blessing right now kumander. It's hot here in Luzon right now most towns are hitting 40⁰c+ so bring lots of water stay hydrated. You should give your bike name. Ride safe kumander😊
Kumander i guess you should buy some safety gear from top to bottom for your own safety and put some of side panniers for your bike so that you have enough storage for long rides like this also for the safety put aux lights for night drives and crash guards advice from a co rider hehe amping permi!
That is a great adventure indeed. One of the Island you passed is LEYTE. I worked there for total of 6 years and 4 months for Geothermal power plant projects in 2 phases.
I've just done the same but with a 110cc that I bought in Manila and drove it 8000+ km circling the north of Luzon, through Samar/Leyte and the Visayas all the way down to Mati. Absolute insane journey
I remember months ago I mentioned to you that since you travel a lot on a motorcycle with so many rough and unfinished roads and many up and down hills in the Philippines. Why not get a motorbike that's good on and off the road and rough terrains. I'm glad you did get one. Just be extra careful driving. When feeling tired and sleepy pull off the road and rest. By the way, nice moustache. It suits you.
