I am a 62 year old man but back when this song came out, I bought the CD 'Tragic Kingdom'. Its popularity was driven by MTV...yes they used to play music videos. There are several good songs on the album.
I don’t how many decades it’s been but I still find her one of the most appealing women in the history of women. She dressed and behaved with a punk edge. That voice. All of it. I have never seen this live vid. But I thank you.
When No Doubt came out, Gwen was such a boost for women in rock, like she was kind of like an idol to me (even though I played bass and didn't sing). And she's still amazing and beautiful all these years later. I wish she was given more credit for what she did for the ladies.
She is now married to Blake Shelton who is huge in country music. They actually made an album together and since she has been dabbling into the country music genre.
Saw them live in '02, i think, with Jerry Cantrell and STP and they put on such a great show. Gwen was a ball of energy, jumping and running around, kicking, dancing and climbed to the top of the huge outside stage, still performing. i was at the railing about three feet from the stage and could see she was absolutely soaked with sweat midshow, wearing the same kinda black pants but a white shorts bra, and was dripping and slinging sweat all over the stage. Fun times.
1995 the magic era for so much music that's so damn good. Same with the movies that came out that year. Mainly mentioned 1995 because of Jagged Little Pill that came out and also it was the same year Just a Girl by No Doubt so much good music G105 Bob and Madison Show,,, Raleigh North Carolina.
We're in the bass player broke it off but they continue to be in the band together so every time she sang the song I have to wonder what the bass player thought :-) what they're singing isn't reggae they're singing ska which is a similar style
Hey Chod I have a request. Look up Candy Dalfer. She's an outstanding saxophonist she has her own band they are so funky you'll love it look her up and try her and then react to Pick up the Pieces
This was not an obscure band. This album sold 18 million copies. To put that in perspective, think of your favorite big artists in the last few years. Take 20 of those artists, combine all their record sales together, and it still wouldn’t equal 18 million. Their album Rock Steady was massive as well: it featured a single produce by Pharrell and was number one on Billboard and the whole thing. It wasn’t as big as this one, but it was a huge album, nonetheless (I think it sold around 5 million). Then … she eventually worked with Dre and Pharrell and Linda Perry, et Al and had the solo career.
this was their great success,, but recently qwen has sold her soul soul to hollywood,, which is sad she is not that original person she used to be.. sad so sad..

Gwen is now a coach on The Voice with hubby Blake Shelton.
Great song, great memories, great reaction, I feel only greatness.
Great SKA band, Gwen Stefani now Mrs. Blake Shelton.
This song is about the bass player. The live version of just a girl from this concert is great.

I loved No Doubt!! Tragic Kingdom! This era is my favorite version of Gwen.

You have to watch "Post Modern Jukebox" perform this song featuring Hailey Reinhart. It will blow your mind!!🤯
Love Hailey R.
nobody touches the soul like haley reinhart 😎
This was their first hit, as far as a commercial hit! To my ears, she has always had a very distinct voice.

Tom dumont is by far one of the most unique, skilled guitarists in the ska rock era. Plus he's right handed like me 😁

She had a huge hit with Hollaback Girl.
This album went Diamond. So this was a way more hit then Hollaback ever was.
Gwen's solo music video What You Waiting For is an entertaining watch if you've not seen it.
Gwen! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
She is and will always be my first and biggest crush!!!
Love No Doubt, and Gwenn.
Love this one. Have been a No Doubt fan for years 💯💖
She and Blake were judges on the talent show The Voice.
She's talking about the breakup of herself and the bass player, Tony Kanal. Tony broke it off but idk why.
This was the ultimate breakup song when I was in middle school
We all love Gwen ❤️🇧🇻
Yo your intro is so damn nice man! Kudos to you and I hope all is well!

She sounded good her and the bass player has a relationship and things I think went sour but they may still be friends it was good I agree 💯
Tragic Kingdom album by No Doubt is F'n great .......
One of my favorites of theirs is Bathwater. Check it out.

Now you need to react to Haley Reinhart's cover of this song with Postmodern Jukebox! . . . . .
Gwen is a boss lady for real
Her older brother Eric is the lead guitarist left the band after this tour
can you do a reaction to I Do by Jewel
❤️❤️
Hey Chod I have a request. Look up Candy Dalfer. She's an outstanding saxophonist she has her own band they are so funky you'll love it look her up and try her and then react to Pick up the Pieces
She is now married to Black Shelton
This song is about her and the base players break up
Nice glow

Kids have no idea how much of an icon she was/is.
oh man such a let down, I thought it was their video
I'd like to see some offspring reactions.... Not pretty fly or why don't you get a job.
More like self esteem or I want you bad.
this was their great success,, but recently qwen has sold her soul soul to hollywood,, which is sad she is not that original person she used to be.. sad so sad..
Haley Reinhart did an even better version of this song with Post Modern Jukebox. And Creep as well.
