Kuala Lumpur is larger than the KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Petaling Street etc etc. There are so many places where you can find good street food! Local people do not normally live in these areas.

Interesting because there are only locals living in our building 👍 We've seen many places in Malaysia and it's beautiful!... and that goes for KLCC 👍

There are locals living in these areas but many are living away from the city centre because it's cheaper just like most cities.

Jalan Alor is a tourist trap. You can find way better street food elsewhere. Its best to just explore around. You can find lots of hidden gem especially in the outskirts of KL. Some of the best places to eat are mostly packed with locals.

It's a good option for tourists although it's expensive because tourists won't be spending too long in KL and definitely not spending it hunting for food all over Klang Valley. So this place offers a wide range of local food.

Hey guys… thanks for sharing your experiences! My family and I will be travelling through Malaysia for a month in July. It looks great!
Regarding the flickering lights in your videos. Try this:
Most of the world uses either a 50 Hz or a 60 Hz AC power supply:
    • 50 Hz: Common in most parts of the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
    • 60 Hz: Primarily used in North America and parts of Latin America.
When recording video, cameras have settings to adjust for these frequencies to prevent flickering in the video caused by the interaction of the camera’s shutter speed with the frequency of the electrical lighting. This flickering happens because the lights pulse at the frequency of the AC power supply (50 or 60 times per second), and if the camera’s capture rate doesn’t sync well with this, it captures the light in different phases of brightness, leading to flicker in the recorded video.
