Bought a 10" Lenova tab4 for my wife. She loves it but she does not need any high powered device. So if all you do is web browse and youtube/facebook, this tablet is great.
I know it doesn't have the most fancy specs but I like the way its built. I have the first A8 I loved the speakers on it, I'm thinking this one sounds similar.

Great Review! I've got the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus and I love the quality of the build. The screen is awesome and everything I throw at it runs perfectly :) The 5.0 MP Front facing camera does a great job too which I guess is the upgrade of the normal Lenovo Tab 4 8 Android Tablet.
So the direct competitor for this tablet will be the yet to be announced Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 (2017). I don't think I would opt for a 425CPU on any device, but I guess it caters to someone.

I'm thinking of selling my AMD 880K (my own build PC) and buying him.. I was proud owner of lenovo tab 3 7 (16GB version, android 4.4 upgraded to 5.0) and was very satisfied with it.. Nothing's better than lenovo now (nothing but acer maybe)
The performance is certainly fine for that and the screen is okay too. I read two books on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017 with a very similar screen. However, the resolution is a bit low. Your phone probably has a much higher Pixel density where texts look much sharper. But it's still usable.
just bought one today for work and i am yet to attach corp account to it. it will be used for reading spreadsheets and graphical diagrams. mostly a communication and productivity device. ill let you know in a week or 2 how it works as a work device.
battery was fine but the wifi antenna does not do AC band so i couldnt use it for work as intended. went with a the Galaxy Tab A 10 in tablet and have enjoyed it much more than i thought i would. I dont use tablets but now i do regularly.

Hey, I have a huge problem to tell you about this tablet: the sound from the screen recording of this tablet is absolutely horrible!! Has anybody made screen recording on this tablet and has the same problem with the sound?
I have the Fire HD 8 2017 and it is fine for TH-cam (web version since the app won't install), Amazon Video, and Netflix. But I hardly ever use it since it won't run any Google Apps.

Just received my Lenovo tablet! What a wonderful purchase! Tab is so cool! Boots up extremely fast! I purchased it on Qwy.io. The price was unbelievable!
They are almost identical. If you prefer vanilla Android, go for the Lenovo. If you want a metal back, go for the Huawei. Personally I would just chose the cheaper one.

M k peeps that is just a plain Lenovo tablet that gives you the 7.1 update do not get the asus tablet though its perfect for gaming and the Lenovo android 7.1 tablet priced at $129 at B&H has that including the $169.99 I highly suggest you buy those you may see a similar name such as lenovo plus at a higher price that has the 7.1 nougat and thats true but do not buy it is not worth it go to the actual B&H store and try out the tablets on display and look for their android version before spending a large sum of your money into that higher priced tablet so spend wisely peeps. How well would it run critical ops, thinking about upgrading from my fire 7 , And have you tried any other methods to speed it up.Using a Google play store, services,teamwork apk and etc my fire can still run Modern combat and Critcial ops well, maybe app issues and the such.When looking at the specs of it, it should be able to run it as the Gpu has about the same power as an iPad air 2 gpu, it has the same ram and is in a average of air and air 2 in terms of cpu power at 1.4 gigahertz.The specs should be able to run Modern combat and other apps well, maybe check the settings and use some dev stuff. For those of you wondering my info is from gsmarena and notebook check.So can you tell me if I could potential speed it up by overclocking by a slight amount? Sad part about this tablet is that when you download PUBG Mobile and Roblox, the memory is literally almost full and i cant upgrade it from android 7 to 8 lol

@jfsfrnd rarely. It crashed during basic functions like music and TH-cam. The built in apps decide to force close constantly even if you've literally never used them. It's overall a piece of garbage

I have the Tab4 8. Wifi only. It takes a long time to charge from 25% to 100%. 9-10 hours. It's not the USB "C" model. Keep that in mind.
I've seen other reviews saying it takes about 2 hours. Perhaps yours came defective, or you have problems with your sockets.

I didn't notice any problems so far. It's not the best sound, but it's fine. It's easy to cover the speakers when playing games though...

Ik this is a bit late but you can usually customise the keyboards to the size and style you like

I don't think Lenovo is selling a official keyboard. But you can use any Android compatible Bluetooth keyboard with this tablet.
