Resin Pen Blank Casting, Turning, & Polishing | Alumilite

Amazing Clear Cast by Alumilite Corporation is a 1 to 1 mix ratio epoxy suitable for casting blanks for pens, handles, calls, knife scales and more. This video demonstrates the process of mixing the Amazing Clear Cast, adding color, pouring pen blanks, and proper curing of resin. Once blank has fully hardened, we turn it on a lathe, polish it to a high gloss using Alumilite Polishing Pads, then assemble the pen.

Your work is great, But I have a question. Why ? The yellow color is mixed more than the other 2 colors, but when it freezes, the black shows up more clearly?

can i do without pressure pot like just epoxy and let it sit how you do with cutting boards etc

you definitely can as long as its not our Amazing Clear Slow that product needs a pressure pot.

how mush time do you have to mix the aluminite before putting it on the pressure pot
