I understand the rush of winning. But with this loadout it has nothing to do with being good and, so, it's terribly unrewarding for me. Iron hands are just an awful addition which strip away the skill requirement from the game. It is the meta, and it's extremely unfortunate. I've won almost every game using them. Epic games aside, your video is instructive and useful. Good take and helpful content. Responding to that, I'd like to add that an alternative to captain america shield is using a car, as it's effective against other players with hands as they tend to shoot at you, depleting their charges, you let your car take several hits, then you jump out and you have full charges to wipe them. Just be careful if they are caring two sets of hands - probably an unintended thing but they don't share charges.
Thanks so much for watching and the kind words! I agree mostly that a lot of skill is removed with things like the iron hands. However, when you fight other players (of which there are a handful) who are good and use my loadout it is often an extremely awesome battle that we just wont get any other time. Flying around, pouncing, blocking and switching is all such a fun game that reminds me of my fighting game days.
It is nothing like classic fortnite and I am okay with that, but I understand entirely how others would want this game to return to it's previous form.
Regarding cars, I think they're great to use in addition to everything else, however as a replacement to the shield? I wouldn't. Mainly they are just too easy to blow up, and even iron hands is very strong with the unibeam against cars. Since this video i've gotten 4-5 unibeam kills through the car. So I wouldn't rely on that as much as I would solid movement with the jetpack and claws. Thanks again for watching and hope to see you next time!
@@AAZFortnite I agree with you about having good battles against players with similar loadouts. The problem for me is that it is the only viable loadout as it is just overpowered compared to any other. We should be able to have great fights between players with varied loadouts. When I use it and the others are not, I feel bad when killing players who are aiming and trying to shoot at me legitimately.
About the car, if you're driving towards a player who has started the beam animation, you can hop out and jetpack strafe immediately, making it near impossible to hit you, and in the meantime you're already shooting back with the repulsors. About my experiences against players in cars - it's the same as yours, I've hit many players and killed a few with the beam because they were running away with the car. The reason for that is that's what most people using cars do--they use cars to avoid fighting. I use cars for the exact opposite purpose, I drive to find people to fight. (Talking about unranked zb here. I play more strategically in ranked.)
Another thing came to mind, which is the alternative loadout to claws - shocknades. Shocknades let you get a higher jetpack hover and gives a significant advantage in repulsor vs repulsor fights because of the increased frequency of headshots. You can achieve the same thing with claws but I find nades easier to do that with. Happy hunting!
bro just be grateful. after this, we are going back to just a plain old battle royale. fortnite is fun this season because we have this wide variety of cool marvel items. when we get into chapter 2 og it will suck. chapter 2 s 1, 2, and 3 were actually plain, but people are blinded by nostalgia (i played all 3 seasons)
Ok once you have your loud out the. there's only 30 people left half the game is over from landing at a chest

I carry Shuri claws until I get the feet. But it's really a toss up for me. Playing a lot of squads this season and the aerial scouting abilities of the iron feet are amazing.
With the right flight technique, I almost never get shot out of the sky, and use it to cancel out of the ram attack with the jetpack right above people and obliterate them with the hands.
This is fun for the person using this loadout, but not for the people who are fighting against them. (people like me)
@@Normalperson1367 unfortunately that is the way a BR will play out! Best way to counter a loadout like this is the two extremes. Either go very long range and do damage with the monarch or striker burst. Then when they close the gap you absolutely blitz them with a shotgun and dual smgs. Unfortunately you would still need a jet pack and Shuri claws to make it work. But at least that’s 2 avengers items instead of 5.

But we sacrifice the shockwave/shuri ability to push quickly in close fights.
And underrated ability of the iron feet is how it blasts out of structures just like shockwaves. Ive dodged 4v1 death just yeeting myself through a whole building and holding down the boost to get away while roll dodging
Hey great tip there on structure breaking, definitely didn't know that! Overall the iron boots really aren't all that bad, their rotational, scouting and running/chasing ability is undeniable. But their one main weakness is really hard to deny, they have next to no combat ability. When your jet pack runs out you cannot switch to boots and just take off freely the way you can shock or shuri.
The takeoff always has been and always will be the problem with the boots. They just don't have that explosive burst power that the other two offer. I do like your building tip and I will certainly consider it. I have considered adding boots into the rotation and dropping the auto turret. It absolutely is good enough to experiment with, the ability to drop out of the sky is unrivaled indeed.

I definitely like your video. Its very good content. You did say you dont have any counter to cars, but you have 2 forms of movement. You should be able to cath up and pickaxe them in the car... i really do like your loadout, i just cant give up having a shotgun though.
@@SlumDogGamer Sure thing my friend! Pickaxing is something that is not loadout dependent though and therefore doesn’t feel worth mentioning.
Even then, pickaxing is in no way a car counter the way, EMPs, War Machines Arsenal or simply shooting with bullets will be in terms of destroying or disabling a car.

@AAZFortnite thanks for the reply. I get what you're saying, I don't make content so I don't think about what works to mention. I will say though, it seems that not enough streamers show that pickaxing in a car is a normal function of the game. I see in forums all the time, people saying hackers are hurting me in my car! Lol I definitely liked your video and that your not just harping on Epic for making cheese items but showing how to use them more effectively.
Good video and quality content by you but man those gloves ... 😂 they are sadly the meta but i stick with guns and jetpack with the mindset of trying to get better for playing more rank modes
Thanks so much my friend! I know lol trust me the gloves are the bane of my existence too. I really do not want to have to resort to this kind of strategy, it just ends up being the best thing overall and it's hard to deny it's effectiveness and use it myself. Honestly ranked is just the same way too, we have been grinding and we are at champion right now, EVERYONE uses the iron hands, it's just the meta unfortunately. Im abusing the gauntlets as well and gonna try the shield now, i play mostly team games and gonna try to distract the enemy with it.

I have beaten many iron man fist and jet packs /iron man boots pretty easily. I get one to shoot at me in a vehicle and have them chase me until their jet pack/ boots run out then I use the jet pack shotgun combo when I rush them they are helpless for 20 secs

God this is going to be extremely unfun to play but I’m also tired of losing. So it’s time to “adapt” and. Abuse it I guess
This is just one way to play this season honestly. There are plenty of players who use traditional weapons and still do just fine. I'd recommend checking out Evolve Jake if you want a more traditional strategy. However if you wanna abuse the crazy stuff this season has, I am your man! Other then doom medallion how are you consistently on full HP with no heals?
@@TheOreoMan73043 you wanna honestly know how? My captains shield takes most of the damage for me. It’s not uncommon for me to finish a game dealing 4k+ damage to opponents and taking under 1k damage myself. I had a game the other day where I literally took 235 damage on a 20 bomb. It’s all about blocking your opponents shots, making them run from you and blasting them while they do.
If you do get blown up, there are slurp cactus, mending machines, floor loot, dead player loot and chests everywhere to heal up. I find a proper defense in battle coupled with a devastating offense leaves little room to damage me, and therefore I just don’t need to heal very often.
Missed the last two streams but keeping an eye on this…

the game is truly becoming less skill, and more based around who has the best items at end game. (also nice vid)
The game is in a really odd place right now. In terms of gun play, yes the skill has gone down dramatically. The skills of the game have now shifted I would say. The more important skills at the moment are the ability to loot quickly and efficiently. Then instead of it being a gunfight of who is more accurate it is now a bit of rock paper scissors. What is my opponent using and how do I best counter it type situation.
Honestly playing this game right now feels more like a TCG and getting my loadout feels like building my deck. Once I have my deck constructed it simply matches up too well against other players loadouts and they can't compete.
Overall I was and am having a lot of fun, but I will admit that the iron hands has absolutely become this season's air bending/magneto item in that it came later in the season, but absolutely dominates the meta. Thanks for watching, hope to see you next time!

How many more days do we have with this meta?
About 11, a week from Tuesday we get another downtime update which will bring.... who knows what. From the trailer, all the marvel items are currently in the game. So I am not really sure what else will change from this point. If I had to wager, 85% of the meta items are already here and I would be very surprised if anything is added that beats what we use currently.

Hey friend thanks for watching! We discuss that in the video, but we either aim to get the doom medallion, or just use heals from other players, cactus, mending machines, floor loot and chests. If you take the time to loot mid game it is very easy to heal up between fights. Hope to see you on the next one!

Getting jumped by iron hand users either randomly or in a 3rd party is absolutely the biggest threat. To beat them otherwise you need excellent aim and use traditional weapons or to just that, beat them with the same loadout. Thanks so much for watching!
