Dall'album Amigos di Santana, pubblicato nel 1976, un brano intramotabile del genere che Carlos Santana, grandissimo chitarrista elettico, ha portato sulla scena mondiale della musica, il rock latino.
Ho registrato questo brano con una multitraccia digitale Tascam DP008, usando il disco originale che possiedo, suonato da un normalissimo giradischi dall'aria vintage acquistato su Amazon, aggeggio che a mio parere fa il suo dovere ed ha anche una buona uscita audio da collegare ad amplificatori o registratori. Non ho apportato grandi modifiche al file Wav generato per conservare al massimo la fedeltà sonora del disco, ho ridotto un po il rumore di fondo, equalizzato aumentando a dovere i bassi equializzando anche le altre frequenze, in più ho esteso un po l'immagine stereo della traccia per compensare anche le perdite dovute alla qualità non eccelsa del giradischi. L'editing dell'audio è stato fatto da me tutto con strumenti gratuiti, cioè Audacity e un plugin VST fantastico, A1 Stereo Control by Alex Hilton, che permette non solo di lavorare sull'immagine stereo ma anche di massimizzare il volume del materiale audio da trattare.

From Santana's album Amigos, released in 1976, an unmissable track of the genre that Carlos Santana, a great guitarist, brought to the world music scene, the Latin rock.
I have recorded this song with a digital multitrack Tascam DP008, using the original record I own, played by a normal vintage-looking turntable purchased on Amazon, a gadget that in my opinion does its job and also has a good audio output to connect to amplifiers or recorders. I did not make major changes to the Wav file generated to preserve the maximum fidelity of the sound of the disc, I have reduced a little bit background noise, equalized by increasing the bass properly equalizing the other frequencies, plus I have extended the stereo image of the track to compensate the quality of the turntable that is not excellent. The audio editing was done by me, all with free tools, Audacity and a fantastic VST plugin, A1 Stereo Control by Alex Hilton, which allows not only to work on the stereo image but also to maximize the volume of the audio material to be treated.
