I think primal prayers will find a home at some point but I think it needs a bit more tinkering and probably needs its own core and not just the boros energy core.
I was wondering what the actual reason it didn't work was, that makes sense, thanks! I know I got that wrong in the intro, it came up later in the video and I asked if anyone knew the exact ruling.
more specifically, you can't cast it because except by paying the escape cost, you aren't allowed to cast it from GY. If you had an effect like muldrotha in play that already gave you the ability to cast from GY without specifying a cost, you would then be allowed to choose to replace the cost with primal prayers. @@KoraeTimeless
Building around a 4 mana enchantment in Timeless is tough... I'd suggest being cautious with the wildcards unless you already have >90% of the deck in your collection.
There's no harm in trying things out in Timeless. But you're right, the deck's power level is probably much better suited for Historic. The Timeless version really only gets better mana, an easier time escaping phlage, once upon a time, and sideboard cards.
Kudos for not getting tilted in match 2 when your opponent drew perfectly in game 2 and had the absolute gall to hit and hardcast the Fury you needed.

can't primal prayer's a phlage because they're both alternate casting costs, so you have to choose one.

This is sweet. I wonder if some variation with natural order, six, and the one ring would be good
you're not casting a creature spell - you're activating an ability of a creature (i am not a judge but doesn't that sound right?)
The deck is pretty nice.The only issue is, aside from the mana base, why not playing it in historic?
Because historic is overrun with energy and this deck gets hit a lot harder by the hate cards
