lol when I visited my dad last summer i noticed his dishwasher was the same one that was there when I was like 20, I'm 52 now lol. he is one that has a repair contract on a dishwasher that is 20+ years old and washes like crap, but there is no changing his mind to get a new one lol.
by the way, you can instantly make a egg holder from the cardboard roll of toilet paper, preferably from a roll that hasn't been used yet... it's pretty sterile from out of the box probably and it just needs to hold the egg shell anyway...

Your father makes scrambled eggs in a normal way. In my family it was always, like that. Poor some oil or use bacon fat. Make the pan hot, pour eggs and scramble them. Nothing sticks.

When at an Italian friends for the weekend they asked my partner what she would like for breakfast , she asked for a couple of soft boiled eggs , it turns out that they didn't have any egg cups so after some head scratching I suggested a couple of espresso cups , Works a treat , hope this helps 👍😅
What your parents actually throw away things they dont use??? What luxxury! My dad recently passed away and now I am helping my dear mother move to a smaller apartment. It a total PITA as both of them have never gotten rid of anything ever and are even renting more "storage space" in the apartment complex as their storage has gotten full over the years.
Claus you need to have a german parent to understand it,my mom was lol.Hey you make trips to mexico so try migas sometime.All it is you make scrambled eggs like usual then crush up some corn tortillo chips and add a couple or maybe 1 alepeno peppers chopped fine and fry in skillet.you control how hot you want it an enjoy.Got covid,no oxygen,add habenero that first mouthful is ok but mouthful no.2 you will breath lol
