Instead of hopping the 7's on the come out for a hedge on your DP bet, why not lay the 4 or 10 or both for double the amount of your DP bet for one roll?

True, but can only be rolled two ways each & you can bet the hard 4 or 10 & work them on the come out for one roll as a mini hedge.
