Planning and being prepared is a great thing but we all could use a little balance and gentle nudge so we do not forget what a blessing today is. Enjoy those babies, Kim. I said the same thing after my 3rd baby, and my 4th, lol, and my 5th. 6 babies later I felt I was finally finished. You'll know when you are done having kids, it's a very strong feeling.
When I came home with number 5, even though he was a surprise and we felt a bit crazy, I told my husband that I think we will have one more. He asked if I was insane. We took non-permanent birth control precautions--like multiple--and now I'm pregnant with #6. So I guess my gut feeling was right even if no said no more.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday also because like you said it’s like a normal family get together but bigger :) I have a big family and my grandma always made sure we were close. And close we are! I have a big family and every Sunday after church we have family dinner also :)

What I have learned through the years is to find things to set tables, Christmas and holiday decorations that will be family heirlooms and that the kids will remember. It takes the guessing and stressing about the holidays away because you know what you are going to decorate with.

My neighbor has a corn feild so every year they do a new design for a haunted corn maze. They also have hay rides. Pumpkin patch. and millions of other things for younger ages. My house is where you turn to get to them so I deck my house out so it makes directions easier to get to them. Head down this road. When a house is watching your car drive down the road, turn left.

In Minnesota we go apple and pumpkin picking. Now most places have experienced a freeze so that is over for some. Most pumpkins $5 for huge ones. Sadly I’ve already woken up to snow. Jealous of Florida weather! Love the longer videos. We put our battery container in the laundry room - where we had it as a kid 🤷♀️
You are my inspiration to get things good enough around here! I've been so overwhelmed with boxes of clothes my daughter no longer wants or needs (she just graduated from Parris Island a couple of weeks ago and is beginning her Marine life) and boxes of pictures, letters, and keepsakes from my husband's grandmother who passed away last year. If you can do all you do with a newborn, I can certainly take a box or two a day!

Hey I have a great idea!: I have 5 kids too - I see framed pictures of your 4 on your wall. To add Wolfgang to the group - just raise up the top 2 photos and put Wolfgang in the center. Your little Prince can take his place right in the middle. He is so cute!! Anyway that's how I worked out getting all of my 5 kids on one wall together.
I loved hearing Kim call Wolfgang "Fang" , it was precious! That boy is adorable! All your meals sound so delicious!! I'm picking the meat off this boiled chicken and trying to decided what to use it for. So many ideas!
Pediatricians… when you find a good one keep them! My pediatrician was brand new when I was a baby and she was still practicing when I had my son. She about cried when we came in! She asked about my brothers and family and she remembered everyone in detail! Sadly she retired when my son was about 10 but it was great having a trusted dr!
It's hard to believe cute little Wolfgang is two weeks already. I hear you on those baby snuggles. Mine just turned 6 months 😪😪 there's no better feeling than cuddling baby. 🥰 Also, I like when you post videos! I watch them while nursing my baby. ❤
I love the long videos! As your long time friend, its a good time hanging out and getting updates on your successes and joys. I just wish I could share the little things as well! Glad to see Mom Dad Baby and family doing well in all the changes. You are marvelous!
We go camping and everyone in the camp ground decorate their campers and kids go around trick or treating. We also get pumpkins for the kids to paint and carve
I would watch 2, 3, 4 hours. I turn them on and it helps me sleep then I go back and watch again when I'm awake and again to fall asleep. It relaxes me!
When we meal plan, we rotate through a few breakfast options and lunch options and then I plan dinner under a specific theme each day (tacos-Tuesdays, pasta-usually Wednesdays, chicken-Saturdays, vegetarian-Mondays, meaty-Thursdays, pizza-Fridays). Sundays is always leftover day. I will change things up as the kids get bored with different breakfast and lunch options, but that doesn't happen often.

My baby spit up a lot and I thought I was overfeeding until I took him to an allergist. Found out that he had a milk and soy allergy. So I just quit those for a while and the spit up went down. He did grow out of it. Apperently it's pretty common. Just a thought
Gosh, my kitchen drawers are probably half the size of yours and since I have a much smaller kitchen, I only have one junk drawer. It looks so good when it’s organized. But wow ,can it get out of control? I live alone so can’t blame anyone but me.
We are not Amish, but we have a family "recipe" for noodles that we make for the holidays - egg noodles, chicken stock/broth, and the drippings from the turkey. We have noodles instead of gravy on our mashed potatoes. So good! I didn't know until I was older how weird that is 😂

My dad, who recently passed away, loved to cook and he would always say, “a recipe is just a guide and you adjust this; don’t need as much of that or need to add a little more of this, until you make it the way you like it”. He was an excellent cook! I wish I’d have 1/4th of the energy you have! I don’t know how you do it especially after having a baby 2 weeks ago and 4 other kiddos! You have a beautiful family! ❤️

We go camping and everyone in the camp ground decorate their campers and kids go around trick or treating. We also get pumpkins for the kids to paint and carve

I would watch 2, 3, 4 hours. I turn them on and it helps me sleep then I go back and watch again when I'm awake and again to fall asleep. It relaxes me!

When we meal plan, we rotate through a few breakfast options and lunch options and then I plan dinner under a specific theme each day (tacos-Tuesdays, pasta-usually Wednesdays, chicken-Saturdays, vegetarian-Mondays, meaty-Thursdays, pizza-Fridays). Sundays is always leftover day. I will change things up as the kids get bored with different breakfast and lunch options, but that doesn't happen often.

I made the tuscan chicken pasta for dinner tonight!! Huge hit with everyone except my 2yr old, he just wasn’t interested in trying it tonight. But I’ll keep trying with him. My baby spit up a lot and I thought I was overfeeding until I took him to an allergist. Found out that he had a milk and soy allergy. So I just quit those for a while and the spit up went down. He did grow out of it. Apperently it's pretty common. Just a thought

Gosh, my kitchen drawers are probably half the size of yours and since I have a much smaller kitchen, I only have one junk drawer. It looks so good when it’s organized. But wow ,can it get out of control? I live alone so can’t blame anyone but me.

We are not Amish, but we have a family "recipe" for noodles that we make for the holidays - egg noodles, chicken stock/broth, and the drippings from the turkey. We have noodles instead of gravy on our mashed potatoes. So good! I didn't know until I was older how weird that is 😂

I love the way you cook! “It calls for 1 tsp cinnamon, that’s not enough”! 😂😂. My dad, who recently passed away, loved to cook and he would always say, “a recipe is just a guide and you adjust this; don’t need as much of that or need to add a little more of this, until you make it the way you like it”. He was an excellent cook! I wish I’d have 1/4th of the energy you have! I don’t know how you do it especially after having a baby 2 weeks ago and 4 other kiddos! You have a beautiful family! ❤️
