I had been putting off cleaning my kitchen cabinets for probably well over a year and did them a few days ago. It didn't take no more than 30 minutes. I used a little bit of LA totally awesome cleaner mixed with water and it worked wonders! The water was filthy! Happy cleaning, you'll thank yourself afterwards!

Both of my parents worked full time, so when the five of us each turned seven years old my mother taught us how to separate our clothes, measure the detergent and bleach, so that we would be responsible for washing, drying, folding and putting away our own clothes. My older sister did my younger brother's clothes until he turned seven and we taught him to do his own. My mother did the sheets towels, wash clothes comforters and her and my father's clothes. It taught us responsibility and to be proud of ourselves and it gave her a chance to rest. We also were assigned different areas on the house to clean every Saturday morning and wash dishes each week. When I went to college, I was the only one in my dorm who knew how to take care of myself. I taught other girls how to wash their clothes, cook for themselves and clean up after themselves, because they had no idea. Learning things early and making it routine makes children responsible and teaches them to be self- sufficient.

I’m a mother of 12. You are an entertaining young woman. Climbing cabinets while pregnant and determined to get work done, reminds me of myself and I laugh. I’m 67 now and still “burn the candle at both ends”. My children ask me occasionally, “Are you ever going to slow down?” I answer, “When I’m dead”, and laugh.

Thank you for all the amazing inspiration, your friendship, and for a new dinner recipe :) About laundry - I don't know if it'll work for you, but something I started doing a few weeks ago that is making life so easy for me is washing a load a day, but it's not designated to any specific thing. It's just whatever is in every hamper in the house in the morning. When I get up, I gather it all up and throw it all in to wash on cold. Then eventually that morning (usually after taking the kids to school) I'll switch it. That's when I'll do any other specific load, like sheets, if there's time and a need. I really, really enjoy having nearly empty laundry baskets in all of our rooms lol. I just happened to do it one day, then did it again, and again, it's it's going strong because it doesn't require any brain energy lol. I've done the "one person's load per day", and that's okay, but this method just works better for me. Plus the kids (mine are 9 and 6) are much more willing to put away a few things every day than a whole basket once a week - but that could just be my kids. Anyway, I just wanted to throw that out there - another fun method for you to try!

Just started meal planning for the month... started with August and now have done September. Also, I have 3 girls ages 11, 9 and 7. Each week, they pick a meal that they will make. Whoever cooked does not have to clean the kitchen that night. I grocery shop once a week from the planned meals and for all the fresh produce. Also, I am not married to the planned meals. If something comes up and we don't make a meal...no big deal! Or if i need to change it the night of...that is fine too. I have been loving it and so have the girls!! ❤️

Meal planning...I am currently doing it 1 week at a time But have 6 premade meals in the freezer to rotate in on hard nights. Ideally I would love to do a month at a time but like you what if sports or life happen??? I want to make a binder like you!!! Its on my longterm to do list🤷♀️😂 That's my current laundry system I "fold" laundry on my bed for our family but the kids clothes go in their basket and they take them to their rooms and deal with them once a week. I still keep baseball and swimming uniforms...or they get lost!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️ I adore watching you clean and your house is soooo normal with kids...kids are pigs!!😂🤣😂🤣 Loved under your kitchen sink!!! We recently got 2 more laundry baskets for our master bathroom, they're slim from Walmart. One for me, one for my husband (and all his work clothes), and one for our 3 kids to share since they shower in our bathroom as well. I LOVE IT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. One less step for doing laundry since I wash our clothes seperately- since that helps me be more likely to put it away

I used to mealplan for the month and then realized I was going to the store every week anyways overspending. I just switched to planning out each week it’s perfect for produce and if you skip any meals you can just carry them into the next week 👏🏻
I have 4 kids plus me and my husbands laundry to do. I do find it easier to keep the kids laundry separate to wash, dry, fold and put away since i just take it to one bedroom to put up. They each have their own laundry hamper in their rooms so that keeps it together. Sometimes one will take a shower in my bathroom and their clothes gets mixed with ours but its only a little bit to take to their room. I do find it makes it a lot easier on me.
I make a list with 10 or 12 dinners and make sure I have the ingredients. Then, each night we decide, from the list, what we are having the next night. Then take out of freezer to defrost whatever necessary. I think meal planning is SO helpful. Makes things go smoother. No take out. 👍

I love the giggles you bring. never fails. I do meal plan, but I lookat the weekly offers at my store(s) first and then decide, been doing that for decades actually and the food is always different depending what protein and greens I combine, it's fun and cheaper

I meal plan for two weeks (a typical pay period) and keep a list of perishables, like fruits and veggies, to get closer to each meal to prevent things spoiling. It works well for us, and I find that I'm more likely to make meals for the family when it's already planned.

I have similar cabinets and nothing seems to get them clean! Then I had an idea to use dawn power wash and it worked! Spray, scrub gently, then wipe with a moist cloth. Perfection!
My husband and I took advantage of the $3 special going on at lots of theatres today and went to see Top Gun 2 for the second time! I don't ever remember seeing a movie twice at the theatre with him! It truly is great!
I like the set up for the laundry! but I like stuff separated out! It will take time, like anything you try that is new, but hey, if you don't like it you don't have to keep doing it! It always seems like my kitchen cabinets are always dirty! I do have white cabinets, I keep vinegar with dish soap and water in a bottle in the kitchen so that I can just spritz them and wipe them down, at least once a week! that is how dirty mine get! thanks so much for sharing! can't wait for the new baby! xoxo
Ok, I meal plan for two-weeks at time. But I don't pick the day it's going to be had. What my family does, is we pick out three to four days at a time from the list I made amd shopped for. And if I need to get anything fresh that I know won't last long in the fridge, I buy that day before or of. I have a small grocery store near my kids school. So stopping by isn't a hassle. (It's a smaller version of the bigger store I do my bimonthly shopping at.) And my kids help out with the menu plan, they enjoy picking out meals or giving me a meal idea to put on the list. I'll meal plan with you weekly.. I enjoy it.
I meal plan for one week. Instead of saying what we’ll eat on what day, I come up with 7 options. Each option goes on a post it and I grocery shop for those recipes specifically. When it’s time to make dinner, we read off the choices and pick a post it. It’s made it sooooo easy and flexible!
On meal planning; we have 4 seasonal meal plans, 6 weeks each, which we rotate through (and switch seasons when the weather feels appropriate) - it was a CHORE to set up, but we love it! We leave Fridays and every other Saturday blank for going out/events/ whatever or trying new recipes, and while we have meals “assigned” to the different days (meatless Monday, beef Tuesday, fish Wednesday, Thursday chicken, Saturday/Sunday stuff that takes a while to prepare, e.g. pizza, roasts, etc.), we mostly treat it more as a “food for the week” list, which really helps with “I don’t feel like eating that today” 😊👍

Easiest way I've found to keep some of my kitchen organized is white boards! I have 1 for our weekly schedule, one that has a list of the meat we have in the freezer, one that I write my shopping list on (write things as I run out and take a photo before going shopping), one that has freezer meals listed & one that I write the weeks meals on it. When I had my last baby last year my midwife would always browse my list to see what I had prepped in the freezer & now recommends the method to her other ladies if they want to get that kinda thing sorted for postpartum ☺️
I meal plan every week- usually in the middle of the week (once the Aldi ad comes out) for the next week. Then I go grocery shopping every Saturday. Its the ONLY thing that works for me.
I look forward my baby’s nap time so I can relax and watch Kim. YES!!! Laundry room is an extension of the garage. I have the same problem. Whatever needs to go to the garage has to spend a few weeks in the laundry room first.
I have a 'things to go home with...' drawer by the front door. Everything that's to go with someone else is stored there...in bundles/bags if necessary- like kids clothes. I got into the habit of looking every time someone went home/out...hey!! It works! Give it a go.. a box will do.. but with lid so the pile is hidden. I also include returns etc for me to deal with. Simples ❤️ 💙
I put out a month of weekly meal plan sheets similar to the one you have, I plan one week at a time. But if I come across something that I think of or see that sounds good, I add it to the next week. By time we get to the next week, we have most of our week planned (unless we decide that’s we don’t want it any longer & select something else).
My best laundry hint for young children is dress them in dark colors one day and do the laundry after baths then I dried and folded before breakfast. Next day they wear light colors and I do 1 load after baths again. My kids put there clothes away before school. It worked for us.
I love watching your awesome video's. About the laundry, perhaps if you fold them and put them in the baskets, it will save time. I am one that always folds the laundry right out of the dryer. That dinner looks so delicious. I've never been good at meal planning but I love watching other people like you who meal plan or I just like to watch you cook too. That gives me new ideas on what to cook and I don't feel like I'm cooking the same things all the time, and it helps me to cook things that normally I wouldn't. In the past whenever I did try to meal plan I would make my list out for the grocery store and somehow I always managed to forget the list at home lol.

Just started meal planning for the month... started with August and now have done September. Also, I have 3 girls ages 11, 9 and 7. Each week, they pick a meal that they will make. Whoever cooked does not have to clean the kitchen that night.
I grocery shop once a week from the planned meals and for all the fresh produce. Also, I am not married to the planned meals. If something comes up and we don't make a meal...no big deal! Or if i need to change it the night of...that is fine too.
I have been loving it and so have the girls!! ❤️

Meal planning...I am currently doing it 1 week at a time But have 6 premade meals in the freezer to rotate in on hard nights. Ideally I would love to do a month at a time but like you what if sports or life happen??? I want to make a binder like you!!! Its on my longterm to do list🤷♀️😂
That's my current laundry system I "fold" laundry on my bed for our family but the kids clothes go in their basket and they take them to their rooms and deal with them once a week. I still keep baseball and swimming uniforms...or they get lost!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️

We recently got 2 more laundry baskets for our master bathroom, they're slim from Walmart. One for me, one for my husband (and all his work clothes), and one for our 3 kids to share since they shower in our bathroom as well. I LOVE IT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. One less step for doing laundry since I wash our clothes seperately- since that helps me be more likely to put it away

I used to mealplan for the month and then realized I was going to the store every week anyways overspending. I just switched to planning out each week it’s perfect for produce and if you skip any meals you can just carry them into the next week 👏🏻
I have 4 kids plus me and my husbands laundry to do. I do find it easier to keep the kids laundry separate to wash, dry, fold and put away since i just take it to one bedroom to put up. They each have their own laundry hamper in their rooms so that keeps it together. Sometimes one will take a shower in my bathroom and their clothes gets mixed with ours but its only a little bit to take to their room. I do find it makes it a lot easier on me.
I make a list with 10 or 12 dinners and make sure I have the ingredients. Then, each night we decide, from the list, what we are having the next night. Then take out of freezer to defrost whatever necessary. I think meal planning is SO helpful. Makes things go smoother. No take out. 👍

I love the giggles you bring. never fails. I do meal plan, but I lookat the weekly offers at my store(s) first and then decide, been doing that for decades actually and the food is always different depending what protein and greens I combine, it's fun and cheaper

You absolutely amaze me with how active you are at this stage of your pregnancy! Not sure when you're due but it wouldn't surprise me if you went into labor in the middle of a cleaning project!!!😄 I had six kids and don't remember climbing upon cabinets, bending up and down so much! When I bent over and stir back up, my stomach would contract so much, I had to take a moment before carting on!!! You are a sweetheart and hilarious! I meal plan for two weeks (a typical pay period) and keep a list of perishables, like fruits and veggies, to get closer to each meal to prevent things spoiling. It works well for us, and I find that I'm more likely to make meals for the family when it's already planned.

I have similar cabinets and nothing seems to get them clean! Then I had an idea to use dawn power wash and it worked! Spray, scrub gently, then wipe with a moist cloth. Perfection!

My husband and I took advantage of the $3 special going on at lots of theatres today and went to see Top Gun 2 for the second time! I don't ever remember seeing a movie twice at the theatre with him! It truly is great!

I like the set up for the laundry! but I like stuff separated out! It will take time, like anything you try that is new, but hey, if you don't like it you don't have to keep doing it! It always seems like my kitchen cabinets are always dirty! I do have white cabinets, I keep vinegar with dish soap and water in a bottle in the kitchen so that I can just spritz them and wipe them down, at least once a week! that is how dirty mine get! thanks so much for sharing! can't wait for the new baby! xoxo

Ok, I meal plan for two-weeks at time. But I don't pick the day it's going to be had. What my family does, is we pick out three to four days at a time from the list I made amd shopped for. And if I need to get anything fresh that I know won't last long in the fridge, I buy that day before or of. I have a small grocery store near my kids school. So stopping by isn't a hassle. (It's a smaller version of the bigger store I do my bimonthly shopping at.) And my kids help out with the menu plan, they enjoy picking out meals or giving me a meal idea to put on the list. I'll meal plan with you weekly.. I enjoy it.
I meal plan for one week. Instead of saying what we’ll eat on what day, I come up with 7 options. Each option goes on a post it and I grocery shop for those recipes specifically. When it’s time to make dinner, we read off the choices and pick a post it. It’s made it sooooo easy and flexible!
On meal planning; we have 4 seasonal meal plans, 6 weeks each, which we rotate through (and switch seasons when the weather feels appropriate) - it was a CHORE to set up, but we love it! We leave Fridays and every other Saturday blank for going out/events/ whatever or trying new recipes, and while we have meals “assigned” to the different days (meatless Monday, beef Tuesday, fish Wednesday, Thursday chicken, Saturday/Sunday stuff that takes a while to prepare, e.g. pizza, roasts, etc.), we mostly treat it more as a “food for the week” list, which really helps with “I don’t feel like eating that today” 😊👍

Easiest way I've found to keep some of my kitchen organized is white boards! I have 1 for our weekly schedule, one that has a list of the meat we have in the freezer, one that I write my shopping list on (write things as I run out and take a photo before going shopping), one that has freezer meals listed & one that I write the weeks meals on it. When I had my last baby last year my midwife would always browse my list to see what I had prepped in the freezer & now recommends the method to her other ladies if they want to get that kinda thing sorted for postpartum ☺️
We have a similar system for our laundry and I feel the same way as you. Sometimes it seems to help sometimes it seems to overcomplicate things lol .
I meal plan every week- usually in the middle of the week (once the Aldi ad comes out) for the next week. Then I go grocery shopping every Saturday. Its the ONLY thing that works for me.

I look forward my baby’s nap time so I can relax and watch Kim. YES!!! Laundry room is an extension of the garage. I have the same problem. Whatever needs to go to the garage has to spend a few weeks in the laundry room first.
I have a 'things to go home with...' drawer by the front door. Everything that's to go with someone else is stored there...in bundles/bags if necessary- like kids clothes. I got into the habit of looking every time someone went home/out...hey!! It works! Give it a go.. a box will do.. but with lid so the pile is hidden. I also include returns etc for me to deal with. Simples ❤️ 💙
I put out a month of weekly meal plan sheets similar to the one you have, I plan one week at a time. But if I come across something that I think of or see that sounds good, I add it to the next week. By time we get to the next week, we have most of our week planned (unless we decide that’s we don’t want it any longer & select something else).
My best laundry hint for young children is dress them in dark colors one day and do the laundry after baths then I dried and folded before breakfast. Next day they wear light colors and I do 1 load after baths again. My kids put there clothes away before school. It worked for us.

That dinner looks so delicious. I've never been good at meal planning but I love watching other people like you who meal plan or I just like to watch you cook too. That gives me new ideas on what to cook and I don't feel like I'm cooking the same things all the time, and it helps me to cook things that normally I wouldn't. In the past whenever I did try to meal plan I would make my list out for the grocery store and somehow I always managed to forget the list at home lol.
