- What Would Jonathan Joestar's Stand Be?
Update: Jorge Joestar was a bad source to quote from, yet I believed it wouldn't be that bad when making this video.
The actual name of it would be Hermit Purple #2 when referring to "The Passion".

I know this is late but what if Jonathan's stand had the ability to instead of stopping time he was able to fast forward time in certain range or focus this abilitie on himself making it seem like he's moving at super speed and this works in tandem with his Harmon the more Harmon generated or conducticted the faster he moves and his sunlight overdrive becomes like an a hybrid attack between star platinums oras and hyrophaints emerald splash allowing for a close range attack or he can charge his fist to produce a barrage of Harmon blast

Fun stand idea, Jonathans stand is himself.
In part three, they said a few times that only a stand can beat a stand, and i think it would be cool if Jonathan said no to that and would fight stands with his bare hands. His body would be able to fight a stand like he was one.
“I Jonathan Joestar shall use these hands to beat the shit out of your the world”
"Dio Brando I, Jonathan Joestar will make you disappear from this world with my ZA HANDO"
That’s what I wish araki did with hamon in the main series. Would have helped Joseph combat stands so much better, he literally rebuff overdrives the hell out of Dio mid fight.

Yea bro, with star platinum stats or better
He be the Stand Buster with Hamon. He ll be invincible in both physical domain(materials and matters that Hamon represents) and spiritual domain(stand's energy, although a stand can still affect physical world) . his stand is The passion,
His stand is a stand similar to hermit purple, its called The Passion, when dio awakened his stand in part 3 jonathan’s stand had awakened too, its a stronger version of hermit purple, its that stand that dio uses to get a spiritual photo, it can also read people’s feelings wich fits jonathan because he wants to help everyone
The name is not canon
Know I’m late but here’s my 2 cents
Joseph is a much more self centered and arrogant guy compared to Jonathan who is the opposite.
That’s why I believe that Jonathan’s stand would be like hermit purple but instead of displaying what he wants, it projects other deepest desires and feelings. Seen with kakyoin and polnareff. While Dio using it to see the SC kind of contradicts this, you could chalk it up to Jonathan’s body using it on Dio via Dio controlling the body.
Also explains why the camera doesn’t need to be broke. Jonathan is a gentle soul and wouldn’t be so wasteful🥰
It’s technically only called The Passion in the George Joestar spin-off (which isn’t canon), but aside from that you’re totally right and it looks and functions like Hermit Purple
@@boneman9751 Joseph didn't actually have to break the camera either, as he's later shown using it without doing that, so he probably discovered that ability by accidentally breaking a camera and it just didn't occur to him that he didn't have to break something for his ability to work.
you don’t get it, he is the stand
“my ghost will haunt you for eternity”
*star platinum*
Gamer Time legit if I see a comment like this I want proof. That quote means legit nothing and can relate to other things. Also if it’s because star platinum has a similar design to Johnathan it’s still useless because a lot of characters also have a similar design. If it’s because he has a barrage, again it’s not useful.
Oof Skeet it was confirmed by Araki himself, stands are spirits. Not just some demon that haunts you. A stand could be a family member who died long ago. Think of the world. Dario brando, think of the fool. Danny from part one. Stands are dead spirits who protect you that’s from your family dumbass
Grey The stray I know stands are spirits, but a lot of stands are the same person as the user, pretty much meaning you're kinda saying Jotaro is Johnathan :/
Grey The stray Plus Johnathan's "spirit" is already haunting DIO. His hamon is rejecting a lot of DIO's vampire abilities, making DIO not at his full potential.

So basically made in heaven
There’s also Rohan’s stand Heavens Door.
Just because the word heaven is used for qnother stand doesnt mean its off limits. For example Hermit Purple and Purple Haze
It’s cannon that Jonathan has a stand called “Jonathan’s stand” and it works exactly like Hermit Purple but it’s not the exact same. :D
Seems to just be a better version of hermit purple since we see him make ghost pictures without breaking the camera in the process
@@ddm_gamer it is better.

@@phantasosxgames8488 It is not called "the passion" that's George Joestars stand in fan fiction.
I think that at the start of Crusaders Araki had different thought about Dio's stand, and no, he hadn't forgotten anything, just changed his plans and instead of apologising like it was with A. Ceppeli, he desided to canonize this, "just Dio has 2 stand"
Still cool, that Dio has 2 stands
@@xpotoh356 I don't think so. He always claimed that he designed star platinum and the world first. I think Jonathan's body having a stand was always the plan since it explains the curse and how Dio keeps track of the crusaders
What's great about Jonathan is that his connection to his descendants goes deeper than blood:
- Joseph has Jonathan's dashing good looks and Hamon
- Jotaro has Jonathan's cleverness and raw power
- Josuke has Jonathan's mannerisms and an ability to heal (albeit not to himself)
- Giorno has Jonathan's resolve (we also see Jonathan unknowingly give life to flowers on a tree branch)
Jonathan is the embodiment of the best of humanity and the best of the Joestars. In conclusion, your first theory was probably right
Jolyne doesn’t count amirite?
@@dracolytelord2568 he probably would've talked about jolyne if he read the manga

@@dracolytelord2568 ik it's a joke and didn't say it isnt just say he probably would've talked about her
The thing is, although these joestars specialize in only one thing, they do it thousands of times better than Jonathan. Joseph looks better than Jonathan and has even more powerful Hamon. Jotaro's raw power and cleverness is practically unmatched. Josuke heals instantaneously. Giorno's resolve is far greater than that of Jonathan's, meaning at this point, no matter how hard it is, he will not hesitate to do it, unlike the other joestars.
He became a Stand. Star Platinum.
“If I die my ghost is going to haunt you!”
kinda wish this was canon
Actually Star Platinum is Bruford the Knight
KarmaStar Araki conformed this
Indeed
Ryan Clark not actually just based off him because of his design anyways it would be cool if he was bruford
Given Jonathan's personality, I feel like he'd honestly have a suit stand that's kinda similar to the Berserker Armor, except it doesn't drive him crazy. The idea basically being that it protects him and holds him together to keep him fighting until all his bones are broken and all his blood has been spilled. He's got the kind of absolute determination and unstoppable willpower that would be embodied by such a stand. The other idea I had was a more traditional stand, let's call it Live Wire, that in addition to the normal things a stand can do like punching also has the ability to conduct Hamon, or even maybe can fire out barbs like a taser to conduct Hamon with. I never liked the idea that every Hamon user just has Hermit Purple, that'd be really weird and inconsistent with how stands otherwise work, on top of just being really lame and restrictive. So Jonathan having a brawler stand that can also conduct Hamon would fit him the best
I like the idea of Jonathon's stand being related to him gaining power from the sun, considering the contrast with Dio and his ice powers. You could also add in some head canon-like inferences, such as: along with the theory that Joseph was using Hermit Purple subconsciously or secretly in part 2, perhaps absorbing energy from the sun assisted Jonathan in learning Hamon faster and resisting the burns he got from the Joestar house burning and using fire from a torch to kill Dio. Obviously that would not be intentional originally, but it would be something a fan can reinsert and interpret under such a theory. It may also be a stand constructed of solar energy; that is, like how Iggy controls sand to form his stand, Jonathan would absorb sunlight, which he could then use to heat his arms or body for attack and defence, and/or form a construct from fire or light.
I always thought Joseph had his stand or his stand was a reference of part 2. I mean he guesses what his enemies are going to say in the future. I'd like to think that he wasn't aware of his stand until he came across a camera or a TV that he tried to use Hamon on for some reason.

Araki seems to put a lot of emphasis on how Jonathan gets stronger when you hit him, and it's not really explained, it's just used as a reason to have him beat up Dio.
Thus, I propose Jonathan Joestar's stand, Daft Punk. The more you hit him, the more he gets *Harder Better Faster Stronger*
I love it but Daft Punk would not be a good way to describe Jonathan. Basically the opposite of him, tbh. Also, that ability reminds me of the metal bat guy from One Punch Man. very cool

YES
Holy shit that sounds really cool, almost like Lucario's aura or the Saiyans' Zenkai
I think Jonathan Joestar's stand would BE EXTREMELY BASIC but powerful.
A stand that nullifies all stand powers so you would have to rely on your own bodies abilities (like Hamna and vampire powers) instead of your stands.
Would be the perfect counter to the world and would really fit with his personality of using his mind and body to defeat foes.

BRILLIANT
Stand: the passion [revised]
Stand ability: to amplify one's own or another persons/stands abilities for as long as the passion is active as well as acquire knowledge through otherworldly sources, the stand ability is proportional to how passionate/driven the user is to accomplish their goal
Explanation: Johnathan has always had the ability to inexplicably gain great amounts of power for a short period of time, you could say that this was just some protagonist BS, or you could say that it was the ability of an, as of yet, not fully awakened stand,
When Dio awakened his stand he also awakened Jonathans stand that was dormant in his body, the stand, reacting on instinct to the remnants of Johnathans fighting spirit against Dio rejected Dio, amplifying Johnathans bodies ability to resist Dios cells and simultaneously amplifying and using the psychic connection that all Joestars bodies share, and for which I would like to get a proper explanation one day, to amplify his descendants latent stand abilities and forcefully awaken their stands, when Dio was defeated and his body laid to rest, the stands of those of his descendants that hadn't mastered summoning and controlling them on their own once more became dormant, some people like Holly were unable to summon them afterwards, some people like Josuke were able to fully awaken their stands later in life after they fell dormant and some people like Jotaro and Joseph were able to summon and control their stands on their own by that point and no longer needed The Passion to help them with that,
This also explains how Jotaro was able to master Star Platinums timestop to the same degree that Dio needed a long amount of time and constant training to achieve, instead of it just being an ass-pull, which it canonically kinda was, in this case it was Johnathans body reacting to the nearby Joestars (Jotaros) fighting spirit who was fighting Dio and amplifying his abilities, that Star Platinum possessed but would normally need much longer to master,
This would also explain why his timestop was so much weaker by part 4 than it was at the end of part 3, it wasn't just because he wasn't training it, I mean if he really tried he could more than double the timestops duration in less than half a hour like he did when fighting Dio, except he couldn't because at that time The Passion was boosting his abilities but without The Passion he could no longer use that ability as well as before but he could still use it because he was the one who awakened the ability but without The Passions support it's just no longer as powerful as it once was,
The second ability would also explain how Jonathan was able to learn Hamon applications that would take others years to master because, as gifted as he was, the passion in its not fully awakened state was helping Jonathan by psychically searching for the answers he was looking for such as giving him the knowledge of other Hamon users about other more advanced Hamon abilities that Jonothan desperately needed but should, logically speaking, have had no clue that even existed,
This was also how Dio was able to use spirit photography, he had partial control over Jonathans body, and was partial control over his stand letting him use just the most basic abilities of the now fully awakened Passion
That's my headcanon at least, it's probably intended to be more less just a hermit purple Hammon type stand but I think my version would help explain a lot of things in parts 1 and 3 that otherwise would be bad writing
Bruh Jonathan's stand is DIO's hermit purple.
I said DIO's Hermit purple. You know how he has the Hermit purple when he uses the Magic Ball.

That descendant idea for Jonathan's stand makes a lot of sense, since he kind of already has it.
Joseph's Hermit Purple: Jonathan's dead body got a superior version the same stand (the camera doesn't have to break, it only has to be hit)
Jotaro's Star Platinum: Sunlight Yellow Overdrive is just like the ORA ORA ORA rush, and Star Finger is reminiscent of Zoom Punch
Josuke's Crazy Diamond: Jonathan can heal wounds and pain with hamon
Giorno's Gold Experience: Early on with Hamon, Jonathan makes flowers bloom on a branch without even trying
He doesn't have anything like Stone Free, but that could be because Jolyne got her stand from the arrow. The previous JoJos all got theirs as a result of DIO getting The World (except Giorno, who was born with Gold Experience)
Hermit Purple's clairvoyance could also have to do with Hamon's ability to see the future. Jonathan never does it, but Tompetty was able to read Zepelli's future by using the Ripple
DIO got The World by stabbing Jonathan's body with the Arrow which subsequently passed Stand abilities onto Jonathan's descendants. So in reality all the Joestar's got their Stand's from an Arrow not just Jolyne.
Maybe Jolyne got hers from Joseph? Since the dude loves to trick people with ropes.

Ok so Dio's Stand, The World, was supposed to be all of the Stands at once, the Ultimate Stand but that didn't happen, but that's why we can see Joseph Joestar's Stand but way better, it is supposedly all of the Stands and it surpasses them. Now, we know that Stands are the user's greatest ambitions and their will, so based on what Jonathan's beliefs and acts I would say he would get a Stand that would help him bring Justice (literally, not the fog Stand) and exterminate evil.
Oh shit! Hey Jotaro, did you ever get Koichi back from Italy? You didn't forget about him did you?
My personal theory, and it makes sense if you look of the entirety of part 3. Is Dio's stand is one that siphons off the power of the other Joestars. Holly's Stand is a plant, similar to the flesh buds Dio puts inside is minions. He has Joseph's stand with the tap ability to produce images. (Joseph smashes cameras because hes eccentric, its been shown just slamming the sand could create images, so he probably didn't experiment at all with his stand. Since, his powers could've been way more useful making psychic maps out of sand when fighting in the desert. ) Finally, he also has Jotaro's time stop ability.
Hm, perhaps something like The Lock from Part 4, with the sins of the target causing them to take more and more damage? The only question here is that would it be a Humanoid Stand, or one that's bound to his body?

His stand is The World, technically. Dio has vampiric abilities, although 80% of his body is Johnathan’s, so....
Nah it's destiny to be dio stand even alternate universe dio has the world
And that 80% has the passion
Nope the world belongs to Dio because stand are the manifestation of a person's fighting spirit.
But then how is it possible for Jotaro to get the same type of stand as Dio’s? I thought it was because Jonathan’s body was also a part of the creation of The World and most of the stand was made by dio.
@@vibeguru yeah I believed that as well
Dios reincarnation in part 7, Diego, never developed a stand because he was infected with scary monsters, but the alternate world Diego did, and he got the world. So if Dios soul has the world as a stand, then Johnnys soul has tusk, so Johnathan would probably have tusk
What about Josuke and Jo2uke? They both have different stands
Skipston I'm not caught up with part 8 but apparantly there's some debate about whether Gappy is really is Josukes reincarnation
Skipston Josuke in part 8 isn't a counterpart to Josuke in part 4 since Josuke in 8 is a fusion of the Jojo by name in part 8 and this version of Kira, his name is Gappy
Gappy is Kira, Jotaro, and Josuke. Alt Kira was already both Alt Jotaro and Alt Kira (acting exactly like Jotaro if he had super OCD and a slight hand-fetish (even originally planning to be a marine biologist until his mother's illness persuaded him to switch to studying medicine, becoming a naval doctor instead), while having Kira's stand with some minor alterations).
Joseph jr on the other hand's stand works similar to CD's Angry Restoration, allowing it to fuse broken objects together and being able to remove elements from it. And his backstory is similar to Josukes. The illegitimate son of Joseph Joestar (this time by a Kujo girl), who he's named after, who had a near death experience as a young boy and grows up with a deep reverence towards his saviors, and keeps the same out of fashion hair style of the original Josuke.
The only other possible choice being Norisuke IV, who was born Josuke Higashikata before inheriting the Norisuke name, but he's too old nor does he have any real similarities between original Josuke aside for having a somewhat jokester like personality.
Jonatan's stand is a greater version of Hermit Purple as Honey's stand. We can see that in SC arc.
Late to the party, I know, but whenever I've thought about what sort of stand Jonathan could have had, it would have to be extremely straightforward and earnest. Probably the Ultimate Punch Ghost type stand, with absolutely insane physical strength, the ability to transmit the ripple, and one little ability: Within a certain radius, it begins appealing to your better nature or drawing out your guilt in evil actions you have committed. Not to the lethal extent of the Lock, but more to genuinely help you see the error in your ways, not unlike how he appealed to Bruford's own former heroic and kind nature.
Jonathan is basically a combination of incredible physical power and endurance, and extraordinary kindheartedness, so I think that something along these lines would really fit him.
Maybe call it something like Under Pressure (Part the sheer power of the stand, part the force you'd feel pushing you to better yourself, and partly because Vanilla Ice stole the riff and VI was one of DIO's most loyal followers)
Stand user: Jonathan Joestar
Stand name: The gentleman.
Abilities: it gets stronger the more you harm it, and it can transfer that power to allies.

The stats for Stand 2 / Helios Overture.
Range: A
Development Potential: A
Destructive Power: A
Speed: B
Precision: B
Durability: A
The A refers to the range of the punchghost form? or it's more like Kiss and has an A because it has ranged attacks? (like the solar beams and stuff)
It refers to the Solar Vision, it has the same range as Kakyoin's Hierophant because it can see for 20 meters.
And yes, the solar constructs counts also.
Pretty cool stand for Jonathan,a bit OP but he has the strongest will of the series so it makes sense.

YES

Stand Name: Speedwagon
Stand User: Jonathan
Stand Power: seeing how to defeat a enemy while also, giving support, and a lot of money.
Well, if Dio stand represents that he wants to be better than everyone, thus only making him able to walk in time stop, jonathan stand would reflect his desires to protect the innocents. Maybe a stand that protect non stand users from stand abilities, making the stand have no effect, or make the stand not being able to touch non stand users, but it makes jonathan weak in the process? And maybe a determination boost?
I always had a theory that all Hamon-using Stand Users would gain Hermit Purple. It basically negates the ultimate weakness of a hamon user, range.
Your video also brought up a secondary theory: that The World's power isn't to stop time, but to use any ability a Joestar can. In Part 3, he uses Hermit Purple and can stop time, just like what Joseph and Jotaro can. This also feeds off of his whole mentality of stealing power from the Joestar bloodline. That means that if Josuke or Giorno's stands developed in time, he could have used Crazy Diamond and Gold Experience's powers against Jotaro as well.
Danny McMillan If you remember
dio healed pucci's leg (or arm?, I cant remember exactly?), so... Crazy Diamond?
I'm pretty sure only Joseph got it because A)he's clever enough to use it B) He's old as shit so his Stand is obviously going to be weaker than if he got it during his Battle Tendency days
Enya's older than Joseph, but her stand is even deadlier. Also, If you think Joseph has lost a step since Part 2, he's played you too. Joseph, being the lazy schemer, he is, probably has a full-body stand, he just doesn't feel like drawing out its full power with Jotaro around to do the heavy lifting for him.
Danny I widh that were true and it's a fun theory. It makes Part 3 more bearable for me.
Danny McMillan maybe DIO uses the superior speed and strength of crazy D (the world and crazy D are both slightly faster and stronger than SP) which would explain why the world looks so similar to crazy D
jonathan´s stand is the passion, araki confirmed it, and its similar to hermit purple
I like how the time stop lines up with the music
Everyone is a gangsta till The World use hamon
Jonathan's stand should have the abilite of producing a liquid that amplifies his hamon. Exemple: he puts the liquid on a steel beam and uses his hamon and the beam melts completely
joestars can't melt steel beams
Aezin
DIO has 3 letters. 9/11 are 3 numbers. conicidince? i think not.

Some thoughts.
It could be that Dio's HEAD's stand is The World, and Jonathan JOESTAR's body (plus its head, ideally) is another version of Hermit Purple. This'll get interesting in a second.
Jonathan's grandson, Joseph JOESTAR, has Hermit Purple, which manifests as thorny, purple vines.
Joseph's daughter, Holly Kujo (nee JOESTAR) is afflicted with the same purple vines, because she doesn't have enough mental strength to control the stand and it attacks her, setting off the events of SC.
However, once the JOESTAR name is lost in all of the JoJos, the powers begin to diversify. Jotaro Kujo has Star Platinum, Josuke Higashikata has Crazy D, Giorno Giovanni gets Gold Experience, and Jolyne Cujoh gets Stone Free. All of these are humanoids with incredible powers.
Until the Joestars diversified, the entire line inherited the same stand, so it would stand to reason that Jonathan would also have Hermit Purple.
DiamondPunk this is actually really good
DiamondPunk
There’s also the fact that Hermit Purple is basically Hamon in stand form, which Araki stayed once. So I’m pretty sure any expert Hamon user would have some variation of Hermit Purple as their stand.
Another Nice Detail. The names all relate to minerals. Star PLATINUM Crazy DIAMOND GOLD Experience STONE Free
A while back I made a poll for a Jonathan amv, and the point of it was to find out which song (from the year that part ones manga released) fit his character best. The song that ended up winning was The One I Love (Fire) by R.E.M. (which means Rapid Eye Movement) and I think it fit with his character amazingly! So maybe in another timeline he has a stand and it’s named R.E.M. excellent video as always :>
It would probably be the Hermit Purple esque stand that
Spoilers
Fumi aka Part 8 Joseph has in Jojolion.
Since it's probably a more evolved version of Hermit Purple.
Better background story: the Joestar’s has purchased an ancient rusty arrow with mysterious origin as opposed to the mask.
Charmatic _YT but assuming that Dio tries it out how would he live
I mean the two drunks
but part 1 would have never happened
Golden Ninja good
@@charmatic_yt2195 But Then the Joestar bloodline would end at joseph and there will be no Stand, do you really want that
I could see his strand powering up other people’s stands
Like giving other people hamon
yea i can see that but i think he would be more of a front fighter
Jonathans stand is Dios hermit purple, originally araki was gonna have the world have all the other stand powers but changed his mind cause he thought it would be a boring fight. Since he already had dio use hermit purple he made that jonathans stand and gave that as the reason Dio had a second stand. He mentioned all this in one of the databooks
You are crazy creative yo like I was just thinking he would get Star Platinum, but you just made something else.
He would have a stand similar to Joseph's since he's a hamon user and hermit purple is the physical manifestation of hamon

he is an oil magnate, so it would be slapping faces with money
The Speedwagon Foundation IS his stand.
the weakness of Helios Overture would be Jonathan needs EXTREME focus to summon the stand

That Wild Challenger ending is awesome! So is the video but that song though! lol
The Passion is not Hermit Purple, it's _alternate_ Hermit Purple.
Also, Tonpetty predicted Will A. Zeppeli's future in Phantom Blood. He certainly did it with Hermit Purple achieved through technique - like with Ball Breaker.

He does not have a Stand. He is his own Stand.
I'd like Jonathan's Stand to be something simple, a weapon like Hol Horse's revolver.
Since Jonathan is all about punching people in the face it could be some kind of Gauntlet that enhances his (already insane) physical strenght, speed and why not his ripple, allowing him to project it through his punches so he can have mid ranged attacks and/or produce shockwaves like WhiteBeard from One Piece but weaker. It would make him very powerful and able to stand up to most physical type stand users.
Call it Solaire Rush (Solaire for the sun/hamon + Praise it, Rush for the awesome classic prog-rock band + to reference his speed, power and courage)
Silver Chariot Its Tusk, show by Diego and Dio sharing THE WORLD yet slightly different in look
Then why on Earth does Yoshikage Kira in Jojolion not use Star Platinum, because he is technically Jotaro's equivalent, not Kira's. Why doesn't Yasuho use Echoes? Why doesn't Nijimura use The Hand? I don't think that the two alternate universes are THAT connected, I believe The World was simply a coincidence. Also, Tusk would make no sense for Jonathan, because Jonathan can't use the spin. The Tusk is a stand very specifically designed and made to reflect Johnny Joestar. Johnny Joestar is a completely different character from Jonathan Joestar, so even the design and name wouldn't make sense. What I could see is Jonathan having a Tusk-like stand, but instead of progressing with spin, it progresses with Hamon. When he uses the final act, instead of unlimited spin energy, it uses unlimited hamon.
Nah it would be a hamon version of tusk or at the very least Jonathan would find a use for it if the stand is spin related.
Silver Chariot -but he already has the sword of Luck and Pluck.-
Sharena The Askr Princess you mean like hermit purple/the passion is? You know, a stand based around hamon?
Idk why but I first thought of Jonathan's handkerchief, and I think it would be sick for him to have a powerful humanoid stand like other JoJo's but his could spawn and throw little napkins/handkerchief's and could use them as portals. like being able to punch one and have the fist come out the other napkin. In my head I think this would be perfect for him, as he can throw some small things in there and possibly it has the ability to shrink people to the correct size for them to fit in there (similar to the turtle from part 5)
if jonathan was actually stabbed with the arrow he either would've obtained another version of the world or tusk
Obviously, Jonathon's stand is [Get Back].
its funny cuz thats where the jojo name came from for the series
thatd also be funny
Jonathan's ability should be to rewind time. it would make sense since dio hates Jonathan the most. he then would build the hate of dio and it would build dio's cause a better plot.
So it would work similarly to Bites the Dust, but instead of a fixed point, Jonathan could rewind as much time as he needs and/or wants.
Alex Thibodeau basically yeah
Hueyuzumaki Xl I'm surprised that Araki hasn't done anything like that yet. Maybe the main villain of Jojolion will have a similar ability?
Alex Thibodeau no probably not and jojolion is over I think? Im not sure
Hueyuzumaki Xl It's almost halfway done from what I know. (I'm only on part 4 but I've been heavily spoiled so I know some stuff.)
"Pucci and created in a really nice place"
I like the idea that The World was originally Jonathan's Stand, which he never manifested. But after he took over Jonathan's body and get rid of the remaining Hamon energy, DIO was able to get the Stand out.
That combined with some sort of inheritence in the Joestar bloodline would explain why Jonathan can have "the same type of Stand"
It does make a lot more sense when you put it that way. The only reason Joseph didn't get a The World type stand like the rest of the Joestars is because he was a more calculating fighter rather than impulsive, and The Passion would suit Dio more since he was also quite a calculated fighter.
I feel like Jonathan's stand ability would be to harness the power of the Joestar's stands. Like, he can create copies of their stands and use them as if they were his.
nigga

@@fazewalmart387 killer queens' situation? if you mean yoshikag8 then i understand, im only just starting part 8 tho so it took me a while to understand
technically hermit purple is the counterpart of tusk since hamon is the counterpart of spin and tusk uses spin while hermit purple uses hamon
@@somerandommexican5681 I guess that means hermit purple could've evolved into a fucking powerhouse if Joseph bothered
If Josuke's Crazy Diamond used it's restore ability on DIO would Jonathan be brought back? Since technically his body is still alive.
Thomas Cochran yeah probably, too bad jotaro destroys it
Houndz1100 Yep.
nah, if anything dio's original body would come back and he may even be devampirified
Anddo Yeah but why wouldn't Jonathan come back?
@Thomas Cochran Well Crazy Diamond can't revive the dead for one (Aqua Necklace arc), so even if Josuke were to bring back Jonathan's body it would be lifeless. The other thing is that Crazy D has a "target" on what precisely he's healing, so if Josuke is knowingly healing DIO without the knowledge of Jonathan it's likely that Jonathan's body would be treated as DIO's.
its probably a mix of the world and tusk. because it was his body that hosted the world, and johnny is just alternate universe of Jonathan.
I just realized, when he stopped time, the captions stopped too
