TL:DR: DIO gets rekt even more and even sooner than before.
Dio can stop time: literally no one besides 1-2 people know that he can stop time. Jotaro can stop time: Every vilain, every stand user, really everyone knows he can stop time
to be fair, Dio made some effort to hide his ability, like trolling Polnareff on stairs. None sane person would think, that he actually stops time, moves Polnareff down and goes back. Perfect troll and genius strategy from Dio
How would anyone know Jotaro could stop time? It is not exactly an ability you could figure out by seeing it. Jotaro does not sound like the chatty sort to announce it either.

That would make sense during Stardust Crusaders until the final fight. There has been times were Star Platinum (I know he has light speed) has used stop time for at least one second, which would make sense with parts like the Egypt Water stand fight. It is similar to part 4 when Jotaro barely dodges Josukes punch and dodges to safety
When you put it like that, it's kinda funny how Jotaro thought it was an *evil* spirit, unless he said "Yokai" in Japanese, in which case it makes sense
For real though, one of my favorite parts about JJBA is how characters can do so much with so little. You've got crazy-ass Stands like a mf that turns into gas, or a literal shadow which makes you age in reverse, and Jotaro mops the floor with them using just his wits and a really buff guy who punches good.

Everything would be the same. They will call Iggy to assist them in battle against the greater number of stand users. After the plane didn't crash Dio will guard his mansion with all the stand users. They will still encounter Polnareff before Dio. Only difference is that the battles against secondary characters will happen at the same time and it will be the true chaos.

Unfortunately, Polnareff never got his flesh bud removed, so when DIO died, he turned into an amalgamation like the Nijimura father and part 5 was never completed :(

That's actually a theory making the rounds right now. Jotaro could always stop time, he just either did it subconsciously, or knew he could do it and used it very, very subtly, so that Dio would never find out he could do it.

Technically this is accurate cause dio didn’t know he could stop time for awhile, that’s why he could only stop time for like 6 seconds at first, tbh Time Stop is one of the few stand abilities that can actually be trained/enhanced without a stand arrow, beetle arrow, or the path of heaven

Assuming that they didn't take 50 days to defeat DIO there's a good chance that Josuke will not have his haircut because Josuke will not be bring to the hospital due to him only bring sick for a short period of time, if DIO is defeated.
It'd also mean Josuke probably wouldn't have been able to beat Rohan since he won due to being blinded by rage (Assuming Rohan could find another way to open Josuke's eyes that is)

Sucks for polnareff to not avenge his sister BUT HEY, Kakyoin's alive ok yall seem to be misunderdstanding what's gonna happen to certain characters -Iggy wasn't added to the team, so he most likely stayed in the cage avdol put him in -Polnareff would lose his head squid, but he won't turn into a green mush like the Okuyasu's dad, because Ok's dad sold his soul to DIO, while Pol just got a forehead squid -The entire DiU plot is able to stay the same -And most of Vento Aureo would also stay the same, but Pol would be replaced by Kakyoin or Avdol (most likely Kak) -Stone Ocean won't change either
A flight from Japan to Egypt is pretty long, the plane would probably make a few stops regardless. Passengers would come and go, a few stand users blending among them. *Maybe* the crusaders would agree that it was too dangerous for the civilians, and would try to make their way by land. Jotaro would destroy all of the enemy stand users, except for the ones that would try to kill someone separated from him, or in a situation like Death 13, where Jotaro would still be at risk. Kinda like part 4 I guess
pros: this is fast cont: polnareff will become okuyasu father, giorno and gang will go bye-bye, they never knew about stand arrow, there is almost zero experience, and the worst of all, it will become "Butterfly Effect"
Although another Stardust Crusader would probably fill the role of Polnareff, more than likely being Avdol due to the likelihood of Kakyoin joining the Speedwagon Foundation and going about with Jotaro, similar to Koichi.
Giorno and the gang wouldn't go completely "bye-bye", at some point someone would discover the requim ability before Giorno fights Diavolo, because it's fate and you can't change that, also they would've probably fought Polnareff on their way back to Japan so there's still a chance

At this point I've made a theory that basically can be summed up as "Star Platinum only has one ability, which is express mailing these hands to whatever abusive jack@$$ is nearest to his present location, and gaining whatever secondary abilities would be needed to accomplish that." That's why Star Finger, that's why he can vacuum Justice, and that's why his final ability was copying Za Warudo's homework. Only reason he didn't same type Pucci was he was too busy trying to protect his daughter, and it kept not entailing beating the shit out of someone, so Star never had a chance to develop a new ability to do so. In essence, Jotaro having a daughter who kept getting into dangerous situations accidentally nerfed SP's ability.
@iinkxo hé was able to stop time for 4 seconds in part 3, he lost it to 2 in part 4, in part 5, on jojo wiki, he could apparently stop time for 4 seconds again, and in part 6, he was able to stop time for maximum 6 seconds.
Dio would be weaker than he was in the original part 3 because he wouldn’t have had enough time to get used to the body and heal completely so this ending isn’t so far fetched
I doubt an extra month and a half made that much of a difference, especially in comparison to the 94 years he spent in the ocean and the 4 - 5 years he spent exploring the world (no pun intended) somehow lol

You actually missed the point that the pilots were already killed beforehand so the plane still crashes so they still meet Polnareff in Hong Kong and their travel via boat would still be foiled as it was already rigged with explosives by the fake Captain. meaning they would still be forced to travel overland but their fight against the enemy stand users would be more easier with Jotaro's time stop.
Yeah because the plane still crash, they will still be onthe same journey but faster and less casualties, to put it simpler, replay the same game with the same story but on easy mode Edit: btw I just realized that every moment of a character dying doesn't have jotaro in it, avdol and iggy died when going with polnareff, kaykyoin died when going with Joseph, so basically those people still died :((((

There has been times were Star Platinum (I know he has light speed) has used stop time for at least one second, which would make sense with parts like the Egypt Water stand fight. For real though, one of my favorite parts about JJBA is how characters can do so much with so little. You've got crazy-ass Stands like a mf that turns into gas, or a literal shadow which makes you age in reverse, and Jotaro mops the floor with them using just his wits and a really buff guy who punches good.

That's actually a theory making the rounds right now. Jotaro could always stop time, he just either did it subconsciously, or knew he could do it and used it very, very subtly, so that Dio would never find out he could do it.

Assuming that they didn't take 50 days to defeat DIO there's a good chance that Josuke will not have his haircut because Josuke will not be bring to the hospital due to him only bring sick for a short period of time, if DIO is defeated.
It'd also mean Josuke probably wouldn't have been able to beat Rohan since he won due to being blinded by rage (Assuming Rohan could find another way to open Josuke's eyes that is)

A flight from Japan to Egypt is pretty long, the plane would probably make a few stops regardless. Passengers would come and go, a few stand users blending among them. *Maybe* the crusaders would agree that it was too dangerous for the civilians, and would try to make their way by land. Jotaro would destroy all of the enemy stand users, except for the ones that would try to kill someone separated from him, or in a situation like Death 13, where Jotaro would still be at risk. Kinda like part 4 I guess

Only reason he didn't same type Pucci was he was too busy trying to protect his daughter, and it kept not entailing beating the shit out of someone, so Star never had a chance to develop a new ability to do so. In essence, Jotaro having a daughter who kept getting into dangerous situations accidentally nerfed SP's ability.

You actually missed the point that the pilots were already killed beforehand so the plane still crashes so they still meet Polnareff in Hong Kong and their travel via boat would still be foiled as it was already rigged with explosives by the fake Captain.
meaning they would still be forced to travel overland but their fight against the enemy stand users would be more easier with Jotaro's time stop.
Ok you actually have a point bc Polnareff is a important character that they will need to meet and SDC would just be WAYY too fast
Yeah because the plane still crash, they will still be onthe same journey but faster and less casualties, to put it simpler, replay the same game with the same story but on easy mode
Edit: btw I just realized that every moment of a character dying doesn't have jotaro in it, avdol and iggy died when going with polnareff, kaykyoin died when going with Joseph, so basically those people still died :((((
