Budoni Agrustos beach 4K SS Sardinia

Budoni (Budune in Logudorese Sardinian, Buduni in Gallura) is an Italian town of 5 253 inhabitants in the province of Sassari in Sardinia.
Budoni borders to the north with the municipality of San Teodoro, to the west with the municipality of Torpè and to the south with the municipality of Posada. The territory lies along small inlets, where there are cliffs and long beaches made up of fine white sand and a crystalline sea. There are also small brackish ponds, with the typical flora of tamarisk and rushes where small colonies of pink flamingos are stationed. Also thanks to these characteristics it has become an important tourist center. The building that made up the original center of Budoni was located around the church of San Giovanni Battista, a structure dating back to 1969. The patron saint is celebrated on 29 August.
Among the various locations in the municipality of Budoni, in this video I present Agrustos which until a few years ago was a small hamlet and now has 330 inhabitants but during the summer it reaches about 15,000 visitors. The latter is one of the largest centers located in the municipality of Budoni, it is located on the border of the municipal territory, near San Teodoro. On 24 June there is the feast of San Giovanni Battista. Agrustos preserves prehistoric and historical footprints. Of extreme interest is the underwater route where traces of the Punic-Roman but also medieval period can be recognized in a depth of a few meters.
