A clear cliff, smoothed by time, gently curved and overlooking the intense blue and blue sea. Mangiabarche beach is located on the island of Sant’Antioco, in the territory of Calasetta, not far from the three beaches of the town: Le Saline, Sottotorre and Spiaggia Grande.

Unforgettable in winter when, during storm surges, gigantic foamy waves explode against the lighthouse, showing off all the power of the sea.
Near the beach there is a small parking lot, bar, restaurant and hotel. Going down the western part of the island, there is another pearl of the Calasetta territory: Cala Lunga, an emerald green water fjord that from the open sea leads to an expanse of sand sheltered from winds and sea currents and immersed in the bush Mediterranean. In the part of the island belonging to the Municipality of Sant’Antioco the largest beach is Coacuaddus and another wonder is Is Praneddas, a terrace overlooking the sea, two hundred meters high, full of colors and smells of aromatic plants. In the cliffs of Capo Sperone, the southernmost tip of the island, as well as a special protection area, you can spot the extremely rare queen's hawk and peregrine falcon.
