Hey looks lovely, thanks for the video! Looking to visit next year, so wondering where in Sardinia to stay. I'd like a quieter town near a good beach, and that's near to public transport as I don't drive. What are your suggestions? 😊

Alghero is nicely connected to some of the best beaches of Sardinia, but it´s a big city.
Maybe Bosa and Posada could be good options for you as the coast is very near, but we were driving all the time, so we cannot help you with the public transport.
Baunei, Lollove and Seulo are wonderful, but located in the mountains and I see that could be a problem to move to the coast by bus.
If you are looking for incredible and easy accessible beaches, but you don´t need a historic beautiful town, then you can check the towns of San Teodoro and Villasimius. We have posted long travel videos all of these places if you want more information about restaurants and hotels.

hey hi there . i am planning to visit sardini at august since its a big island i have booked 10 days will you suggest me how to start .. which will the better airport to land and travel the places .. and also what is the rules to hire a car or motorbike

Thanks for watching! We landed at Cagliari airport and rented a car there. We have posted a whole Travel Series of Sardinia with details about transportation and accommodation, you can check all the places that we visited in chronological order and decide where to go, it´s difficult for us to choose, but if you go 10 days, we advise to focus in the East and North of the island this time, as those were probably our favourite places, we visited some incredible places in the West too, but not that many. The rules for car hiring are the same that in the rest of the European Union, we strongly advise to get a full insurance with the car rental company, as the roads sometimes were not great, there will be much more traffic in August too, we visited in May before the high season started.
