so sick that linus finds the 1/4 OTR, would've thought shove would be the play since all Ax chop now.
Its insane how good he is. Pure actual genius
one of the all time greats, top of the game for many years for a reason
Hey Uri,
Great content as always, especially when featuring the best like Linus.
Few questions if you don’t mind, feel free to reply here or make a video:
1.) How close to perfect solver play do you think Linus is? Are there still big gaps between the best players and the solver? Strategies and sizes still not being used?
2.) We saw in the past with Alpha Zero and Brute Force engines in chess that the AI can still surprise us and outperform the best engines. Do you think solvers can improve further still or even be outperformed via AI? How far away are we from solved NLHE?
3.) What are the top theoretical winrates at the highest levels online?
4.) What do you think the future of online poker looks like? Games are obviously getting tougher. Will there be a point where the games are so tough that they will be unbeatable with the rake? Do you think a new poker boom can happen or perhaps new variants or stack depth might emerge?
5.) What changes to the poker landscape would you like to see?
Thanks!
Did you see ruse ai vs slumbot? It beat it for 19bb/100 but I believe there was some caveats wrt the constraints of the HU match that wasn't widely reported.
Very big gaps still from GTO, and top players can have very high winrates - the game is alive and kicking!
Boom can happen? There are more than 500k players on gg on weekends... We are in the middle of a boom
I'm confused, 2500 is quarter pot on the turn and solver bets that amount like 50% of the time. What am I missing?
i think the solver is in different units... so 2500 in the solver is twice that in game
spooky how he nails the one pure raise Ax combo
very
Can be more accurate HU. There is some reasonable logic to Assimilate AJcc>Axcc
@@christianw2530he is just an endlevel genius
I mean they're all mixed raising and the highest ev one (with the flushdraw) being pure isn't that tough
When seallama calls with Q3, how would he deligate the bluffcatchers as to not overcall? This seems like a tricky problem since he has a few different Qx combos, and surely he can't call all of them.
I was surprised the solver prefers QJ to bluffcatch over Q3 since you'd want Linus to have hands like JTs, but what do I know
I think it's because of the large amount of AJs, and also AJo in this solution, so the solver likes to reduce the number these combos by bluffcatching QJ? Similar to how it also looks like in this sim the solver is also calling JT, QT since that also blocks AJs, ATs. @@tomcads1604
@@tomcads1604 if playing well, the majority of time you're betting on the river its going to be for value so blocking value > blocking bluffs.
You wing it and can use an rng, nobody gonna get it perfect but if he's not trying to exploit he's rnging hands like queen high and not pure calling them
Really nice video and explanation. I like how you explain things and your thought process. Are there any books similar to your style that you can recommend?
Thanks for the video Uri!
pls review the hand where seallama hero called KQ high for 3x pot OTR against barak
😅
link for the hand? :)
@@shavuri i think you’ve disabled links for your comment section so i’m unable to copy&paste it. but it’s the 51st post in dec high stakes thread on 2p2
Great video!
Isn't btn 4betting q3s a too wild pre-flop?
no
No standard heads up at low frequency
ok now I see @@masstransitrecords7865
If Llama just shoved river does Linus have to call?
He showed in vid he makes portions of Ax indiff
Q3 is a 4bet????
He was 4 betting light. Have to have some of these in your polar range
sure but Q3 seems extreme@@_Chris_D_3004
Heads up you want strong hands and very weak hands. Since you can just call IP so your 4 bet range is very strong hands and then shot like low suited Qx A5o and some shitting Kh off suit
who is this seallama guy????
US live reg I think
He’s Llama - historically seen him crush 500zone on Iggy etc and obviously gone on a tear on ACR and live last couple of years
Struggles against the players at the lodge takes on some of the best players in the world makes perfect sense@@andrewfraancis
@@andrewfraancis llama as in flyinglama from stars? longtime HU reg?
@@Proactionguy no way that guy way too bummy to ever sit in the 3 handed games seallama has been playing.
Llinus dream machine is the best. Private RTA solver, its why he rose to mega high stakes in 2 years. He runs it on a separate PC. When he is forced to play without it, he gets owned by actual talented players live, like Charlie Carrel in the Triton event.
Where's any proof. You've literally just made this all up in your head lmfao.
Very oborra vibes
hahahah
YESSS
GORILLA POKER!
Solver from china ….! 👍😉
Poker become a fucking boring piosolver command, bots, super users, human edge is almost gone
You will seriously regret not fixing your posture in 10 years, I can promise that, you’d think as someone who understands EV you’d invest in this. I’ve never seen worse nerd neck ever, worst case I’ve seen
Yeah wtf…
