So does that mean we have to order that nose piece monthly if we are throwing it away?

You can use it for as long as it lasts but yes , once its warn out will need to replace it.

I am a new Cap user and using this mask. it seems like it takes extra effort to exhale through the nose. It feels like trying to breath with a sinus infection. Inhaling is easy as the machine assists with this. I end up so frustrated that I rip it off and throw it to the floor. Is labored exhalation normal?

A few questions: Is your exhale ok through your mouth? Does it feel like the nose part is squeezing your nose? Is your septum deviated? Is it difficult to line your nose up with the holes?

Exhaling through the mouth is good. I made sure the EPR is set to the highest setting. Inhaling is fine with no resistance. I used it again last night and managed 3.5 hours with it before I had to take it off. @@sarahthecpaplady
