 What is Posterior Heel Pain Tendo-Achilles Tendinitis?
Achilles tendinitis, an extremely common medical condition, is brought on by discomfort and inflammation of the tendon that extends down the posterior part of your lower leg.
The largest tendon in the human body is the Achilles tendon. It plays a role while you run, walk, use stairs, jump, and raise on your tiptoes. It joins the muscles of the calf to the heel bone. The Achilles tendon can tolerate significant strain from activities such as jumping and running, but it is also susceptible to tendinitis, a repetitive stress condition.
 Causes of Posterior Heel Pain Tendo-Achilles Tendinitis?
• Micro Tear
• Haglund's deformity
• Lack of blood supply to that part
• Overuse of calf muscle
 Symptoms?
• Pain on exertion along tendon
• Severe pain after exercising
• Swelling/ stiffness
• Thickening of the tendon
 Diagnosis?
• Clinical examination
• Point of swelling around tendon
• Examination of the area
• Range of movement
• Heel pain
• Uric acid test
 Treatment?
