🚴‍♂️🚐 Van Driver Convicted for Close Pass 🚐🚴‍♂️

This rear footage was submitted to Op Snap by a pedal cyclist last year 🚲
The driver of the van passed by this cyclist exceptionally closely on a busy road. The Highway Code states that drivers should leave at least 1.5m of space when overtaking cyclists.
⚖️ The person believed to be in possession of the van at the time failed to confirm the identity of the driver. Consequently, the matter was sent to court and the person was convicted.
ℹ️ They were issued with fines of £1,014 and received six penalty points.
