You can do quick line without turning off the drawing assist. Just draw a line, and and keep the pencil still for a second (like a normal quick line) and you can move the line independently of the grid. This works in any grid type (Perspective, 2D, etc.).
I am pretty much teaching myself digital drawing. I never even knew this existed in my procreate program. Can’t wait to rematch your video tomorrow and give it a try!!!
I watched a few of your videos 2weeks ago and bought Procrete because of how much u love it......I was not disappointed, I love it, it’s a shame there’s no text and other features but as a artist new to digital art, I Thank u dude 👍
Very good. I'm a recent convert to Procreate on the Ipad having enjoyed but struggled at times with the usual non digital art media. Tutorials such as these just keep adding to the fun. Thank you.
Great tutorial. Thanks! One thing that I think was missing from this was an evaluation of what your experience was. How did it compare to Illustrator? Would you use this workflow for more things? Personally I really like the scalability of vector art so unless this was much quicker than Illustrator, I’d be hesitant to move over.
Love this style of art and am getting great tips from you. I think procreate is so much easier to use than photoshop. In this example the perspective is right on point. Thank you again for showing and sharing your video. Mi
Another helpful tip, if you’re still using procreate. Draw a line and hold your pencil down. Your shaky line will straighten. There will also be a small sign or whatever at the top, which reads: edit. By using edit, you can make the line longer if you so desire.
Thanks for the quick and helpful tutorial on isometric drawings in procreate. Very helpful to get the gist of it. Looking forward to playing around with this. 🥳
Doing a perspective version of this drawing would be hard as hell. Like with the exact angle and using 3 point perspective. I did it with the first 3 letters in isometric (iso) and it wasn’t easy...it was crazy
Sorry I’m new to all of this. I did auto cad for 15 years, 15 years ago... not the same. I have been working with a company on an app for 2 years and decided to do the graphics my own damn self lol. Been studying Affinity for a year and thought F me, never gonna get it when I stumbled across this and you. Good God thank you! Now I’m realizing the two together will make me so much stronger. Now for my question (after telling you random stuff about me 🤦♀️). I keep rewinding and I’m missing something because my isometric is not cubing. Staying in line form. Any idea what I missed? I’m on an iPad Pro.
Good video :) Regarding the text in procreate line have moved out there, we gonna have a text tool in the next update, there is a bunch of stuff to see if you go on the discussion forum of their website, it worth a visit (personally after the text tool, now i am actively supporting the animation tools) ;) Apart that I directly thought about you when I have seen that isometric grid like “Brad gonna be so happy about that!” lol
How are your fills so clean? I was trying this and where you have intersecting shapes due to overlapping lines etc, the fill was just stopping. And if I increase the tolerance it would flood the whole area. Ah - you’re doing all components on layers
MrKlaw if you hold the pen on the screen after dropping colors & then drag the pen from left to right afterwards to will change the tolerance of what gets filled or doesn’t get filled
To be a little nit-picky: a cube is made out of squares, not rectangles. You mostly drew cupoids, which are made out of cubes, but different. Nice tutorial, thanks!
Thank thing is so sick! I need to do more perspective work. Do you have a tutorial on perspective illustration for more round shapes? For example, cars, people, other not so geometrically perfect shapes? I know its about the same idea. Just can never get my things to come out right.
That city in the beginning is truly amazing! nice work.
Thanks!

Yep yep! I was gonna point out the same thing, so glad you did.
This is a really cool feature. Reminds me of the Crossy Roads game 😆 gonna have some fun with this feature.
@Callan Eugene lol
@UCfHeKewkQaHbxI-_OdpHDPg it's a. Scam
I just wanna say THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I’ve always wondered how those types of drawings are done, I really appreciate it
I am pretty much teaching myself digital drawing. I never even knew this existed in my procreate program. Can’t wait to rematch your video tomorrow and give it a try!!!

This was not only informative, and educational, but it was very satisfying to watch an isometric drawing in this way

Great vids and you've got me working on my iPad again! Nice to see another Cleveland Boy!
you can now add text in procreate and transform it to your liking. It works nicely.

What advice do you have for when to use Isometric and when to use Perspective.
Your videos are excellent!!
Wow so amazing, this is truly mind blowing. Thanks for sharing.
it‘s sooo cool!! more more more!! 😍😍❤️

Good stuff. Let’s see more animation stuff.
I liked your style of tutorial. it's very detailed and make more sense.
that's why I already Subscribed! More power to your channel. cheers!
I had no idea the perspective guide existed, definitely didn’t think it’d be on pocket.

Love your tutorial! Thanks
I'm new to all this and ! Can't figure out how to get rid of grid lines! Ugh!
To be a little nit-picky: a cube is made out of squares, not rectangles. You mostly drew cupoids, which are made out of cubes, but different. Nice tutorial, thanks!

This is great!
Great video 👍

This was really cool! Thank you :)
Why is his intro so fucking satisfying... do do do do
Cool man! and great tutorials! :)
Could you please enable captions for the hearing impaired? Cheers, wonderful video
Light source is all over the place.
dude thank you!
Interesting brush shapes, where can I get them?
could you please tell me which app you use for create the letters? Thanks!
Unfortunately we can’t use custom angle for isometric.
Ugh, is there no snap to grid and a brush that's a consistent thickness to get clean lines?
Isometric and Perspective drawing are the two things I’m really trying to learn. Does your course cover these, in depth? Thanks!
Very nice!!!
Lovely. Thank you.
would you consider to make a super huge and detailed city/landscape image with it?
This was a neat video good job :)
what do you think about the Samsung galaxy tab s4 ? are going to try it ? and compare it with the tab s3 ?

Good work I love ❤️ it
