    Finally got around to trying this ... absolutely outrageous. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. I made some "nashville hot" sauce to brush on it also and it took it to the next level. Really great recipe. So so much flavor and juiciness.

    Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe video. I recently bought a convection/air fryer oven and have been wanting to try making fried chicken 🍗 but didn't have a recipe for it. I've found yours this morning and can't wait to try it! Looks delicious! I'm going to get everything I need this week and make it next weekend. I love KFC but would rather not have deep fried foods if I can help it. So many thanks for sharing your recipe on here. I really appreciate it very much. Blessings to you and your family. 🙏🕊️💕

    I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. Also, the lack of needing oil to fry means that my family and I are eating healthier... while still enjoying the crispiness of fried foods.

      @@BrownGirlsKitchen I used a very similar marinade & dreg twice, I was missing a few ingredients. In my opinion there's no need to use extra oil. The fat that drips out from thighs is enough to baste any dry flour spots.
      It's a really nice masala, the smells & look of the chicken was so difficult to let it rest. Much better crunch than deep fried chicken and really juicy.
      Off topic, I made tandoori chicken & fish today. This air fryer is really great. I made in total 1kg of chicken and .5kg of fish in one go.

    This looks delicious! My friend watched this with me. She's attempting "Veganuary". Poor thing was near tears! I'm SO mean, I told her to coat thick slices of tofu and go for it. She wasn't thrilled! I used to be vegan, so I know how hard it is. But I really think the coating would work. I may try it myself! Thanks for sharing! 🌈🌈🌈

    You should not use olive oil it has a high burn rate and it will eventually stop the fan in the air fryer because of the build up of burn oil. Vegetable oil or avocado oil is lighter.

    This is not a air fryer stove, it's an air fryer oven. I have it, but the PowerXL mark.

    Chicken got ruined in air fryer, I can't set the temp but I don't think I did anything wrong. The chicken still has flower on it. Might be a cheaper air fryer.

      Ahhh. Cheap air fryer is terrible. I am sorry. May be cook in lower temperature plz.

    • @robertscott4782
      @robertscott4782 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its not necessarily because you might have a cheap air fryer. It's quite common with many air Fryers for there still to be patches of flour that haven't soaked up any juices or fat. It's also easily remedied, when you turn your chicken half way through cooking (which you need to do to get an even cook with most common type of air fryers) lightly spray or brush a very small amount of oil on any remaining flour patches then continue with the cooking process. Also rather than getting all messy using a bag with flour in to coat the chicken try using a bowl, it's far easier and less messy than the bag technique shown in the video. Good Luck.

      @I don't have a name
      I would suggest a higher temp longer. My chicken would be undercooked at 165 for 30 minutes. All air friers are different.
