I am 55, and I have heard this song since I was a little boy. And I loved it then and it has even deeper meaning and joy to me now, thinking of my Mother and Grandmother. Granny is gone but Mama is still going strong.

I saw this on TV, the following day there was an article in a local newspaper that began with "It's OK to like Barry Manilow again."
I love this. I always think of Murphy Brown when I hear this song and how she was so anti-Manilow and then he sang this touching song to her.
