Just going for a boat ride and sitting watching the water is great, catching the big ones is the bonus prize, sure beats sitting on the 50 bridge for 45 minutes while coming from the west side this time of year.😁. Great video Jay thanks for taking us along.
The wife booked us a 3 hour fishing venture on the Miss Ocean City, located at the Shark in the Harbor- fishing was slow- ended up catching one flounder and a fish with wings (what the kids on the boat called it) - Beautiful day on the water- but fishing was slow -
Nice trip out, water was like glass. Awsome. Different then off the beach. Heading down next week to stay in ocean pines , cousin just purchased a house. Down to help em move in and build a rear shed/garage. It cant be all work, definitely throwing some rods in the water. 🍻
How far must you go ‘not’ to see land? I know weather/atmospheric conditions do have a play in it. Also, for this trip, how far out do you go? Looks like a small boat to me…would make me nervous. lol
Around the 13 to 15 mile mark is where you can hardly see land and it starts to not be visible anymore. At that point you can hardly see the taller hotels. The trip we did was probably about 30 miles out and the boat is 32 feet. I think the width of the boat makes it look smaller, but it had a bed space in the front to sleep 2 people. He recently sold the boat for a bigger one, but that boat was awesome. Twin engines and very heavy, it handled the ocean very well!

Hey at least you caught something!!! I heard from a lot of people it's been veeeeery slow. The water is still green, which isn't good.
Thats why they call it fishing. Some good days some bad days. Still I enjoy your videos.

Oh nice! Where at in Ocean Pines? I live on the north side. Definitely don't work too hard....fishing takes priority! HAHA
