Sandy, what ever you may lack in technology, you make up a million times over on your knowledge of color theory. Watching you create the “bitter sweets” painting is so awesome. I have a set of color markers but unfortunately I have so so many things going on in my life that I just can’t seem to fit them in, so watching you is the best thing. I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your precious mom. 💕
Love your shorter hair - I grew mine through lockdown and it took some getting used to having it shorter again I loved all three of these but the Bittersweet were just fabulous- then the tree was also fabulous - then the leaves! I’ve had a few weeks of not doing any art/crafts or even watching videos like this but seems I’m back, hopefully getting inspired - thank you
Your new haircut looks cute! I, too like my part, so I get it. Congratulations on reaching 150K followers! That’s fantastic. Now, for the markers, I’ve put them on my wish list. I’d love to see more demonstrations of how to use them, particularly for the realistic pieces. I will try to make your Live session on Saturday, but can’t promise.❤
I’m new to watercolor pencils. I have a set of Albrecht Durer that I need to learn more about. Congratulations on your 150K followers. That’s a big milestone!
Amazing to just watch and listen to your view of the techniques achievable using the pens in the different art styles. Thank you sooo much. Very inspiring.
The size of the tip on these looks like a nice in between for the dual tip sizes on the Faber-Castell markers. I love the range of styles you got with them - really lovely! Also, part your hair where you want! The center part trend isn't going to last forever. 😄
I wish I knew more of the science of all these types of pens - but then again that's more info than I want, too. ha! Just gimme pens and I'll figure em out.
I've not used brush tip Pitts so I don't know, but Staedtler invented the ink that's in these; so I'm sure there's some properties that differentiate them.
Their website says this ink is more lightfast than similar pens but I didn't see a rating. I wouldn't call them a fine art pen, they're more of a fun sketching pen.
@@SandyAllnock1 Yes, they extended to 60. Connie (colouring chemist) got her set from amazon Germany recently. She likes to work with pigment pens in colouring books.
They can pull my side part out of my cold dead hands! (Though honestly I’ve had it for so long I don’t think my head would put up with anything different.)
There are two varieties of bittersweet. American bittersweet is native and based where the berries are in this picture appears to be the bittersweet in the photo. Asian bittersweet is invasive. It’s berries grow in the leaf junctions. So American bittersweet carries berries only on the ends of the branches and Asian bittersweet carries berries all along the fruiting stem.
I like your hair. It is more becoming and side parts are wonderful center parts expose your scalp and make your nose look bigger . Part your hair on the side.
No matter what medium/style you are given to work with, you truly exceed and surpass your goal. Even your struggles are works of art.
In my newsletter for Saturday I'll be giving tips on how anyone can explore mediums like this :)
So agree with you !

So you're the third person who's not pushing for the middle part, lol! Glad there's a couple of us.....hehe
Huh, I just assumed that these would be like acrylic paint pens. Silly me. I always learn something new from you!

It sounds like they have a very different ink
These look really cool, i especially love the last one.
I think your hair looks really cute! Thanks for this video. I enjoyed watching you create 3 different styles with the same markers.
I’m in love with the color. It’s like perfect strawberry short cake red.

Question from a newbie to pigment markers: what’s the difference between these pigment markers and Pitt Artist Pen with Brush tip?
I've not used brush tip Pitts so I don't know, but Staedtler invented the ink that's in these; so I'm sure there's some properties that differentiate them.
Pitt Artist Brush Pens use India I think.I’ll try to imitate your examples to see how they perform.
…India ink…
Wow!
How lightfast are these pens?
Their website says this ink is more lightfast than similar pens but I didn't see a rating. I wouldn't call them a fine art pen, they're more of a fun sketching pen.
If I am correctly informed, Staedtler extended this line by 24 recently. I don't know whether they are already available on the US market.
24 past the 36?

@@christianem.7792 cool! I'll be on the lookout for them.
So like Inktense markers?
Do they make inktense markers? This might be what id imagine except they might stay moveable a little longer.

I wake up every morning and have to work hard to go back to center. But I promised I'd do it for a week 🤣
